This one reminded me of an accident that happened in my neck of the woods. Two men on scooters collided and the youger one took off, not looking back. The older one (who had family and kids) ended up in hospital and died few days later. About a month or so earlier another accident left a young girl dead and her two friends injured after the one driving the scooter they all were on...drove it right in front of a car. I think most people who use scooters are worse than many cyclists. I was not surprised the guy on the scooter tried running away...

By looks of the "body language" of that bus driver, someone went flying and probably had a concussion. Rules in Sweden when it comes to buses exiting busstops are as follows: Buses have priority when exiting busstop IF the road is a 50 km/h or slower. Any faster speed limit on that road the bus has to wait. So I have no clue on who was wrong the moron in the Black Ford? or the bus.

Same here, but its give way to buses when the limit is 70 or under (that road will not be 70). The sign on the bus actually says (at least in QLD) "Give way to buses, it's not just courtesy, it's the law." So yeah, Ford is at fault.

That looks like Victoria by the PTV, its a requirement to give way to busses. old make got a scare when the bus pulled out and decided brake checking a probable school bus was the right move.

The float driver is still in the wrong (not indicating or checking blind spots) but cam owner should have been able to see that the float driver wanted to pass and given them space to do so, rather than just speeding up into their blind spot because the speed limit changed.

@@Kipah maybe you didn't read my comment but I said the float driver was in the wrong. The driver with the float is clearly a bad driver. but what I am also saying is the dash cam owner could have avoided the crash by being more vigilant and defensive in their driving. Personally, the way I drive is I don't accelerate when someone is passing me and I don't drive in peoples blindspots. I also stay well clear of drivers with trailers as they are a hazard. putting yourself in their blindspot is putting yourself in the way of a hazard. Being safe is more important than being right
