I am using VIOFO A119, if you have a budget go for VIOFO brand, else 70 Mai have wide range too. When you choose dash cam, make sure it has capacitor instead of lithium battery. We have a hot weather and capacitor has high tolerance. A few are in the description

In my solo trip mumbai to kargil mil base...i didnt just use a dash cam....but also a action camera in front and rear single dash. This was in 2022 from mumbai to kargil via manali and leh in my 2006 safari dicor 3L. I returned via kashmir. Same in 2023 in a solo trip from mumbai to himachal (lahul,koksar, kasol and jibhi back to mumbai.). Never needed it . But was a added benefit. I suggest all users to use a dash camera. On a bike id suggest get a cheap action camera which can over write. The bike dash cams are presently costly upwards of 35k. So I'd suggest use action cameras for a bike. But do so.

@@RidiculouslyAmazing yes sir. As a bike is equally susceptible to accidents and instances what a car can be. But the dash cameras for bikes need to he hard wired and are pretty costly as of now. So best way around is use a action camera which can over write footage and memory.

​@@RidiculouslyAmazing I'm planning and customising an special camera for my RE Classic 350, it is gonna fit on front and rear both side and will be equipped with 5G/4G connectivity, so that every moment captured will get instantly uploaded to cloud storage, so if anyone forcibly try to disarm/disable camera it'll get recorded and uploaded to cloud. Sometimes miscreants also try to destroy camera/evidence, adding a cloud plug will resolve that. Also it should be consuming very little power(probably below 5W, so that it shouldn't disturb ECU controlled power supply line). Evaluating multiple cameras, (camera+gps+motion sensor+remote ignition control+ emergency alarm/dialing emergency services/informing near and dear ones etc)

You could have braked when the auto was trying to cut you from the wrong side. You could have braked when the police man was doing the same. I feel you do it intentionaly to get the footage. I have ego but it is not bigger than human connect. Policeman could die and it is horrifying experience. Sir , meine front n back dono dashcam lga liye hai bcz people r driving like lunatics. and road rage has become everyday story. majority are not following traffic rules in Pune and jo follow kre unka he accident hojata hai plus chalan bhi police unka he lgati hai.. mera 2 bar redlight jump krne ka chalan lga hai even though i was in green for right turn and stuck in middle of the road bcz opposite side k log red light mein he road block kr k nikal gaye n afterwards mera he chalan agaya.. from that day mene front dashcam lgaya n ajj back mein bhi lgaya hai.
