Dasha - Transit and their importance

From my experience dasha is much more accurate in explaining events happening during that period of my life but transits should also be examined but there were times I had good transits but challenging dashas and the dasha was more accurate in describing what happened. I did not get your question? Dasa is different from transit and a satrun dasa can be very different from saturn transit ....same for jupiter
