AuraSteelWolf some conflicting stories of course, but I believe it came down to the fact Spider-Man 3 didn’t do as huge as they wanted it to (it was still a success/profitable), so once the original guy Raimi was out of the picture they used it as a chance to “go in a new direction”. I think the only way Part 4 gets made is if Raimi stayed on BUT the studio also knew he wasn’t going to rush and make a crappy movie. So if the studio knew that, why did they give him such an early deadline? I think it was to force him out

Marvel movies produced between 2000s and 2010s, along with those of DC and the Michael Bay Transformers movies, were nothing short of masterpieces. The perfect storm of action, drama, and adventure in every frame. It's like they took everything that made comic book adaptations so great and cranked it up to 11. The characters, the storylines, the effects - it was all just top-notch. I'm not ashamed to say those movies hold a special place in my heart, and I revisit them with nostalgia and relish each time.

@@buckeyesfan4700 nah go and rewatch the spiderman 1 and 2. There were plenty of scenes of him taunting his enemies. For example, in spiderman 1 when spiderman was in the cage match he called bonesaw (the guy he was fighting) gay by saying "nice outfit, did your husband make it for you" or later in the movie when spiderman says to Jameson "let mom and dad talk a little will ya" and then webs Jameson's mouth shut. He played a perfect peter parker because he was shy, unadventurous, and not very witty while his spiderman was the opposite of all those things. Garfield played a great spiderman but a crappy peter parker and the same with Tom who played a crappy peter but a good spiderman. Just rewatch the movies. Toby's peter parker was perfect and nobody has gotten it done right ever since. His spiderman was good although I must admit Garfield's was slightly better. the thing with the first two spiderman movies that made them to me the best superhero movies is they understood what they were. yes spiderman comics can be dark but unlike batman or the hulk spiderman started out as a teenager, someone going right into highschool. he understands the responsibility he has as spiderman but at the same time he is a kid trying to have fun with it as well. that is something most of the other movies missed, homecoming came close, but that campy fun mixed within the darkness is something all the others had missed going forward. i hope the mcu gets a reboot after whatever story they plain on doing and i hope it all starts off were it should have started, with a spider on a string of webbing moving toward a young parker.

This is a song I’ve been a bit back and Forth with when it comes to its message. I mean, I’m the type that doesn’t care what the artists intended message was, if I come away with something profound to me then that’s all that matters. But to be fair it’s not that I dont really care what the artists message was, i just care more about taking something meaningful away from it. Recently it sounded like it was about someone that was emotionally volatile. Yes, thats prob a laughably generalized description but im really just trying to get other ppls opinions. I love this song and it’s taken varying meanings depending on what my life is like at the moment im listening to it. Hearing interpretations I never would’ve thought about is one of my favorite things when it comes to hearing other ppls interpretations of music. The way music can make you feel intense emotion, sometimes without a single lyric is so fascinating to me. Forgive me if this sounds a bit disjointed, it’s late and this was all stream of thought
