Dashboard RAM mount installation on Honda NC750X

Please, more videos of this motorcycle Mike ! :D I am going to get my license (when we are out of lockdown here in belgium) and still am choosing between this bike or the kawasaki vulcan s. But im more and more thinking to get this bike over the vulcan.

My girlfriend got the NC750S instead of the Vulcan S. The Kawasaki is really beautiful but as a beginner rider she found it very weird having her feet in front instead of below her. (Also no chance to stand on the pegs or at least lift your butt slightly if you see a bump coming.) Most comfortable on her test rides was the BMW F750GS. But the DCT and helmet compartment sealed the deal on the Honda. (Sadly the X is too tall for her.) Her fourth test ride was the Yamaha MT07. On paper the lightest bike but in practice less easy to handle for her. I'd have gotten the NC750X if I wouldn't have gotten a good deal on an Africa Twin. Also with DCT, even better for my size (over 190cm), more power, and more extras already included (heated grips, main stand etc.). But no helmet compartment, higher fuel consumption, and maybe not the best bike for beginners (which I'm not, so it's okay).

@@TonboTouring well i am about 175-180cm tall, i do think the ncx will be a bit too tall for me though i think they can lower them a bit i have read? We dont get the s version here in belgium. Ive now changed my vision of getting maybe the vulcan to the indian scout sixty though :D I mean, if i have to look at what i really like.. the style of the bike then its a chopper. Moneywise, its about 4K € more expensive too though. But looking for daily commuting, with all the traffic in belgium, im almost certain to get the ncx.

Thank You for shearing you do not mount rubber washers between the adapter and windscreen ? 🤔

I did not have spare washers at the moment and the package didn't include any. But you are absolutely right that there should be washers between the windshield and the mount. I have noticed that the windshield makes a funny noice when rubbing against the metal mount.

Nice video ! Are you satisfied with the Puig windscreen? I'm 1.78cm and thinking about buying it. Is the deflector necessary?

I am very satisfied with the Puig screen. It creates a bit of turbulence in strong winds, but it took so much wind pressure away. I bought it as a kit with the deflector, so I haven't tried it without. I think it wouldn't work as good for me without the deflector, I'm 182cm.
