If only it were that simple... In fact, it is necessary to pass training in a driving school, which lasts 3 months and costs 25,000 rubles (the average monthly salary), then pass exams in a driving school, then pass exams in the traffic police. You need to learn 800 tickets, the exam will have 20 questions where you can make 2 mistakes, but for each mistake you will add 5 more questions where you can't make mistakes. Then the exam is taken at the automobile training ground, which consists of 7 exercises. And after that, the exam is taken in the city in a real environment (this is the most difficult and unpredictable). Now police officers take bribes very rarely, so it is very difficult to buy a driver's license

Rules taught at Russian driving school: Rule #1: always drive at the fastest possible speed. Speed limits are just an opinion. Rule #2: Never use your brakes. Using your horn is the best strategy when you're about to collide with another car/semi-truck/T-72/bystander/moose/general object. Rule #3: Never cede the right of way. The right of way is yours every single time. Rule #4: There is no such thing as blind spots. It's just an urban myth. Therefore, you do not need to check them. Rule #5: If you can't see due to whiteout conditions, or have minimal traction, go faster. The faster you get to where you're going, the sooner you'll be out of danger. Rule #6: Vodka. Drink it. Rule #7: Buy a dash cam. The footage will provide sadists on the internet with hours of entertainment. Rule #8: Always blast the absolute worst European techno mix you have while driving. Always.
