Awesome job sir. Big fan of your dig rig🤙

It's a very capable crawler! I've installed all the electronics on the front and rear axles. This is the first video I made a while back: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fpuyZ4huirisfbs

You may be able to link the esc to your pc with a quad copterflight controller.

Just got mine today and it is horribly underpowered. I ordered the RTR version and it had a cheap 20A (max) servo and I couldn't believe how easily it stalled out. I swapped a higher Amperage ESC in and it seems a little better but not nearly what I'm seeing yours do. What ESC did you put in? There's no doubt it's a cool rig but I just wonder if it was worth it. Any tips on the electronics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, man!
@MotoFamMayhem3 жыл бұрын
Why can't you put a different esc in it??
@DarkKent2 жыл бұрын
Niiice. You split the motors to get dig?
@2fmrc2 жыл бұрын
Yeah basically. Mixed them on the transmitter to where I can run them together or individually.
@kennethcartman4733 жыл бұрын
it just walks over that course. def needs a dual esc. :)

Rear steering would help

Yeah if it wasn’t basically impossible to get parts for it would probably already have it lol

Ouch.... Gotta have a drag brake 😳

Yeah it has zero! That’s my main complaint with it at this point.

How'd u setup dig brake for the rear?
@Rosenkohl643 жыл бұрын
thnx for the vid, m8 ! I have to set up my radio ( Graupnet X8 ) to control the dual esc, but not sure know how to do that..What kinda setting did u use for that ?
@2fmrc3 жыл бұрын
It’s a bit complicated if running 2 escs. You have to have channel mixing on your transmitter to do it.

I'd like to see this out in the real world, like where you took the Bully 2.

Yeah I need to take the little guys out there sometime. I always just end up with the 1/10s when we go out there. I’ll try to take it along next time!

Defo think you should mount a body on it. Something real scale 👌

What ESC would you recommend? I have one on order.
@jaskiratsingh85703 жыл бұрын
Hey I had a question about the tegu esc. I’ve been using it for a little bit and it was working fine but for some reason I turned it on today and the esc is constantly blinking and not giving me throttle only steering. Do you know what could be the problem?
@2fmrc3 жыл бұрын
Hmmm not sure really. Did you try to recalibrate the throttle? I would try that and if that don’t work I’d definitely contact Furitek and see what they say about it. Sorry. I haven’t had that issue myself so I’m not sure about it.
@jaskiratsingh85703 жыл бұрын
@@2fmrc I had a spare receiver and rebinded it with my transmitter and it worked!! Also one more question what screws are you using to mount the surpass motor?
@2fmrc3 жыл бұрын
@@jaskiratsingh8570 I used some 3mm X12mm screws for mine.
@robrob15963 жыл бұрын
Do you think those MOA axles would be cool on an scx24?
@2fmrc3 жыл бұрын
Probably but they are pretty fragile. I had considered making the swap but never did. I just wasn’t impressed with the quality of this thing at all. It seems very cheaply made and I really just never ran it much.

I wouldn't bother wasting your money on it $300 there week I've been through two motors and three cv's it's only been ran a couple times big waste of $300 don't do it
@2fmrc3 жыл бұрын
Lol yeah that’s pretty much my thoughts on it. I’ve honestly ran mine 2-3 times and it sits on the shelf. No parts easily available and not the best build quality.
