Not sure if you've played the game before or seen enough gameplay to know, but that's how they can avoid being killed by the ghost. When the flashlight starts flickering, the ghost will go on a hunt to find and kill a player. To survive the ghost hunt, the player will need to go to a different room from where the ghost started the hunt, close the door, crouch in a corner, make sure all equipment is off, and stay quiet. Getting back to the topic, Dashie definitely hid in the corner while being quiet to avoid getting killed by the ghost. It is obvious that he was doing that to survive, but I'm just saying that it's not pointless and it increases the chance to stay alive during the hunt. Aside from this little guide, it was funny seeing cartoonz come across Dashie hiding in a corner lol.

When the lights are flashing the ghost is hunting. Get in a room, shut the door, turn off your light and sit quietly. Check very rarely with your torch to see if it's still hunting. If you don't hide with the door shut it will find and kill someone. Nobody has to die if you all hide lol.

When asking questions don’t say the ghosts name it cancels the question out. When it hunts the light flickers it’s hunting you want to hide in a room, close the door, turn off the flashlight only turn on every now and then it see if it’s flickering, and don’t be silent that way it can’t know where you are. Only say it’s name as a last resort. Have plan of where to hide when it’s hunting, stay in groups but same attack you in groups.
