I had a customer ask me to bring his order inside one time. I walked in and the entire family was sitting there staring at me. At least four other capable adults, and it wasn’t even a large order.

It's against TOS to bring items INSIDE a customers residence. Walmart has a service called "in home delivery" that is offered and fulfilled via WALMART ASSOCIATES because there's training Walmart requires before you can enter customers residence. I have done it myself but ONLY for disabled folks but in the back of my head I do wonder if imma get kidnapped😂😂😂

Walmart customers try to get you to bring groceries in, but it is against Spark's terms of service to enter a customer's home. It could get you deactivated if you aren't careful.

I was just going to comment to be careful and never go inside anyone's house. I had a very uncomfortable and scary "meet at door" now I am super wary of those even. It's not worth $5... not for any man, woman, or child will I go inside anywhere!

Most of us who do Spark (that I know of) ignore the Home Depot orders and GM (15 drops, high miles) offers on Spark. They're a blip on the radar and bypassed quickly. They never pay good. I wouldn't waste your time on either of them.

I recently got the new "Irene" voice too. I've determined she's a former HR exec who talks to much. I much prefer "Chelsea" the original navigation voice. Funny thing is I get get them both intermingled and some times they take turns telling me the same thing, which is extra annoying. There new favorite thing to do is to tell me to turn a certain way on a street after I've already done that. If they didn't get a chance to talk about something that I've already done they have to give me the instant replay. Then she will catch up to what I'm supposed to do next hoping there recap won't screw me up. Personally I hope they fire Irene and give Chelsea all of the speaking lines again.

It is against policy to go in a customers home. The old lady needs to pay the premium for in home delivery. Its not your job. You did the right thing keaving at the door. Some of these customers will take advantage of you especially if you dont know policy. Never enter a house just for your safety and liability reasons. You could go in that house and never be seen again or they could say you stole something in their home. If they are old, i have made an exception to place inside the door with the door open and never stepping in the house. It IS totally up to you. But you are not obligated. These people think they own you for 12.95 a month.

That customer who wanted you to bring inside needs to signup for Walmart+ In-Home service. We as Spark drivers shouldn't enter a customer's home.

i stopped doing spark. they are stretching there orders way out there. and there estimated times on the multi orders are wayyy off. remember it said an hour and a half for 17 packages and it took me 2 and a half hours. and thats with speeding around. spark has gone down hill big time

Walmart CHOOSES not to include the full miles because they know most of their offers are trash when you consider the miles, the amount of delivery stops, and the heavy items. I rarely see any worth while once I add in the miles to the store. They know what they are doing...

Oh I so feel your pain! I’m in California and I do Uber … I’m retired but I have to do this gig for xtra income. Your stories about your job so reminds me of what I went through at my job.. lots of work with very little pay 🤦🏽‍♀️….
