I had a Doordash delivery last week. My bill was 18.00 and change. I added a 6.00 tip. I was approximately 1.7 miles from the restaurant. After having watched your videos, I was curious if the dashers in my area were getting shitty pay so I asked the dasher about it. She was reluctant to tell me but I told her I had been watching dashers on youtube and it was unimaginable to me the small amounts they were getting paid. I said, at least I know you're getting 6.00 for coming here since thats what I tipped. She was clearly shocked. She showed me her phone and she was only getting 3.00 and change including tip. Doordash isn't only ripping the dashers off, they're ripping the customers tips off too! I'm so pissed.

I have always wanted to order and ask the driver if they received the entire tip.

That's interesting, I've asked multiple dashers if they could verify the tip and all that have were always spot on. I always assumed Doordash just reduced base pay on high tipping orders to hide tip stealing since there would be no external way to verify that... Blatant tip stealing should probably be reported since they already got caught doing something similar.

Well, there's another KZbin gentleman that I watch and the same thing. The customer was curious, and he showed her a $5 tip. She was lived, and she had tipped $10. So no, they Do Not give us the entire tip.

@themeatymama I hope more people start asking their dashers. It was a real WTF moment for me because it had never occurred to me that any company would steal the tips from their delivery people. I'm going to ask the next delivery person I get too, Spark, ubereats, whatever.

I’m glad you exceeded your $85.00 goal today! I was going to suggest, since you know you need $85 every time you dash until your son’s next dental appt, why don’t you just set your goal to $100. That way, if you have an emergency at home, or you get into an accident, or you’re not feeling well, you’ll still be a little ahead because you set your daily goal a little higher. I do understand you have children, and you’re a single mom. You’re doing a great job! Just curious, how long does it take to edit a video?? ❤❤❤ blessings to you!

I'm in Fl too and my AC just broke .. seems like it Breaks every summer I've replaced the units twice in 12 yrs too . anddddd I just replaced my dryer a few weeks ago 😩 doesn't it always seem like shir hits the fan every time you think your finally getting ahead lol .

I have learned to enjoy shops. Fully half of my trips on door dash are Winn Dixie, Walgreens, or Dollar General shops. The base pay is higher and tips are usually decent. Not always, of course, but generally. Keep figuring out what works best for you. Each market is different.

I love shopping orders. Breaks up the flow of boring food orders a bit and can pay very well especially once you get prioritized.

That’s what I do, I Dash from 11am to 2’ish, if I start getting all crap I turn it off. Then I go from 5-8 pm. My goal is $50 each session. If I don’t make it in the morning I usually make it up in the evening.

Ida , Keep doing shops. You will eventually be prioritized for them on doordash. You will get them regardless of acceptance rate. I do 5-15 a day and do very well once you get used to the store layouts. Get a cart because those waters can get heavy . They pay better then doordash restaurant deliveries most of the times I’m also doing 3 at a time now sometimes.

I know where the bathrooms are in every Publix in my area 😂😂 and I carry around my own Tervis tumbler with a lid so I can refill it with ice and water at their soda fountains.

Yesterday Urber Eats gave me $44.03 to pick up at Walmart! Never picked up there before and didn’t know Urber even did that. Took me 51 mins and was 11 miles. Was amazing!

When I was setting goals of 100 a day it was hard but once I switched to 25 an hr minimum it became easier because it pushed me to figure out where the higher offers were and when.

Hi Meaty Mama, I really like how you handle the GoPro while you shop, grabbing the items and facing the camera so we can see them clearly. It made me consider buying those items myself. Great job on that-I'm learning a lot! I have a question about how you manage your GoPro inside restaurants. Do you position it above or below your phone? I'm trying to figure out the best setup for better viewing. I remember you mentioned it in one of your videos, but I can't recall which episode. At that time, I didn't have a GoPro. Now I have it. I'm looking to improve my dashing videos with this new feature.

Going back out for an hour or two at dinner like 6 to 8 it’s probably totally worth it. Agree you can’t do too well, if you just do dinner, but if you do the main meal times and you get shopping orders in between and a rest between lunch and dinner, it should be good.
