I’m looking at a y62 series 3 or 4 ti, but for not much more I can just get a series 5 and save 50-70,000km. I’m on the fence because that $15k could be my bull car, lift, exhaust. But the 50,000km is almost 4 years for me

In every car I have seen the gear stick and handbrake are closer to the driver than cup holders. I guess that for S1 they simply used the central console from the LWD Patrol, then changed it for S2. The only vehicle with the layout you prefer is series 70 Land Cruiser converted for Europe - they switch the wheel position, but don't recreate the central console.

I just put a deposit down on an S1 2013 Y62 with 60k kms. This thing is barely used and with the original owner. It is immaculate! Question is though, can I bluetooth music from my phone to the stereo AND is there an upgrade aftermarket screen compatible with this year???

Lack of Bluetooth audio streaming in the S1 would be a major turn off to some buyers.

I will do electrical and mechanical knocking, but I need a two position pulley to lock and unlock the power. The front wheels move, but the front snaps and bolts stop with manual locking and increased power and torque, but that won't bother you unless you draw power from the back. If you are not comfortable with you, simply return each circuit breaker to its position and secure it to the curves. The car will change with you in all driving modes. The only thing that matters is the double gear. This is an additional, continuous waste of energy, and the nice thing about it is just one exl control

Reading about the Patrol engine some are reporting timing chain stretching. Has anyone had any issues with it. Is it a big issue or just coincidence. Has Nissan sorted it out and from which version.

I just spoke to a Nissan specialist today about the timing chains. I was told that after the terrible hurricane in Japan it wiped out one of their key manufacturing plants that were responsible for the timing chains, so they outsourced the timing chains to a manufacture in India which where of poor quality for the 2010-2012 years.

Hey dave I bought a Patrol recently. Do I have a unicorn. When I saw it on carsales it says it was an S2 but on the rego papers it says: 2016 NISSAN PATROL Ti-L (4x4) Y62 MY15 4D WAGON 5.6L V8 7 SP AUTOMATIC. It also has the honeycomb front grille. How could I check if the VVT is on both intake and exhaust?
