Dashware Tutorial - How To Add GPS Telemetry Overlay to your GoPro MTB Videos

I worked a bit with Dashware in the last months and I decided to share this tutorial for anyone that wants to know how to add GPS telemetry data to their own videos.
In this how to I added GPS data from my Garmin Edge 530 (stored in a .gpx file) to my Gopro video, just follow the steps and you should be able to do the same quite easily 👌🏻

Thank you for sharing your experience with Dashware...... It would be nice to cut the gps data differently for the map (including the whole trip) and elevation/speed tracking (just the segment in the video) ...but i didn't succeed so far. BTW.... 192 bpm is quite an elevated hearth rate ! 😳

You are welcome Pasquale 🤜🏻 What do you mean exactly with cutting the GPS data differently? Just a section of the full .gpx file? Yes when I'm pushing hard downhill is the same like i sprint on uphill 🤣, I'm exceeding of around 10bpm my limit ☠️

Did your heart rate info come over from Strava data as well? Or something separate?

I use a garmin edge 530 with a dedicated heart rate strap, connected with strava 👌🏻

@@OresteCiotoli understood. But the HR data came from the Strava export correct? So if I use a dedicated polar chest strap that works with Strava that data will come when I export from Strava?

yeah this sucks as garmin virb wont work and was looking for an alternative. What is everyone using?
