Yeah. Just speculation EU/100T/Optic were top 3 before Champs in my opinion. But EU really had a great advantage being drawn into groups and bracket play with not that many top tier teams to face. They really only faced one top tier team and that was Optic for Winner's Final, and kudos to them they won. Then faced a tired, exhausted, 100T which they played 4 series all the way from 10AM with no breaks. Unlucky for 100T, but they did lose to LG.Then they faced Faze, Sicario, EG, Reciprocity, E6, Optic, and then EU.But that's just how tournaments go. Not trashing on EU, they were the best team and probably most consistent in terms placements from being in the grand finals 4/6 Lan events, and number 1 in their division. They did all they needed to do and sometimes luck goes your way.
