im actually pretty impressed, i could immediately recognize the bridge,the curve to the intersection,and the tunel plus entrance. its pretty well made. edit: iirc the red square symbols are the highway numbers edit 2: swiss traffic lights are designed go be viewable from all distances that matter. theres always one lower one if theres an overhang one,be it as a post on the walkway,on the divider of roads or on the other side of the intersection

It kinda sucks that all 3 bus sims we have all cant get it right, but get some things right. OMSI = realistic simulation but bad graphics Fernbus = Good graphics and ok simulation (passengers not getting on bus removes some of the "feel". and Bus sim 16/18 has good things like route creation but lacks any real simulation as its so arcadey.

Fernbus simulator is broken, omsi is old, not to mention the annoying dlcs, and bus sim really feels like an arcade. If scs just made that coach simulator they talked about, it won't be perfect but better than the available options.

Great video Paul. I'm not much of a bus sim fan but this is looks fun. I think with the minus points for the rest was because with the penultimate stop you should have checked the passengers in, and then immediately taken a rest whereas you picked up the passengers, drove off and then rested. I've nevered played the game, but that was it seems like watching the video.

There is no such bridge on the highway between Zurich and Basel. The most realistic part on this trip was probably Luzern and the layout modeled after the actual location around the train station. Also there were a few buildings in Basel that match the original.

BeamNG.drive now has a bus and a bus driver mode. Unfortunately theres still no actually people but apart from that you have to stop at the stops, kneel the bus, wait five seconds, close the doors, raise the bus and you can continue

Maybe anyone noticed, but you could take a break in Zurich, as your computer suggested at 0.30 in your vid. So take a break at the loading area. That's why you were early at Zurich. Just enough time to take a break before check-in of the new passengers. Further nice vid's. Just getting to watch your vid's.

The red box in the sat nav is the highway number. So if there is a 4 in the box, you're on the A4. But since this game is a scumbag there are no highway numbers. BTW I loved the ending where your where roasting the scoring system

I found out why it seems to be hard to steer in this game. There a fricking curve editor in the biding controls. It makes steering laggy. I mean, I do have to use expo on ETS and ATS due to the fact my wheel is not 900º, but in fernbus its so weird how it behaves.

in the US, at least where i live, the lights are overhead, but on the far side of the intersection so you can actually see it, and if you cant you pulled past the stop sign and shouldnt have done that.

I think you should have rested at 12:30, as suggested by the FlixBus app on the phone. ( See it @4:29 ) That's why the passengers were nagging you so much. Keep up the series, I like it a lot! :)

I wish SCS software would add a bus DLC to their trucking game seeing as how we have bus stations & bus stops in ETS2 & ATS. Mostly in ETS2 in France, and other places. I guess there's mod, yet SCS needs to take over. From what I'm seeing they keep wanting to go far too complex it takes the fun out of the game that they should simplify it a tad bit.

I know this is a late comment. But after driving heavy ridged and prime movers eg Volvo’s the heavy ridged vehicle’s do have over steer and you can get caught out turning. Also there is more turn in the steering wheel in a heavy ridged than in a prime mover. So the steering in the game is pretty much close.

at 4:23 in the video: the timetable said to leave at 12:31, and then in the next line to pause at or after 12:30 for 15 minutes. who creates this kind of stupid timetables, first letting the bus wait for 20+ minutes and then demand a break of 15 minutes one minute before it has to depart, and also even showing this only below the line with the departure time ?

That "not driving on road" deduction might have meant you didn't follow the GPS's route out of one of the bus stations ( the GPS didn't adapt to your actual route for that brief moment) - who knows why it would penalise for that?
