I dont know how many english speaking/reading people do know the books of a german adventure novel writer called Karl May. The persons mentioned in a Mission in this game ( Kara Ben Nemsi Effendi - also known as Old Shatterhand, Hadji Halef Omar and Lord Lindsey) are some of his novel characters. As a german player of this game this small mission made me smile.

If you want to make routes more profitable, try using the option to wait until fully loaded more often. Running costs of a waiting train are a fraction of that of a train constantly running back and forth empty and passengers don't seem to mind sitting on a train at the station for 6 months before setting off. :0)

Didn't even know that was an Option lol

I had to restart this mission 5x before I found your video and was able to complete it. Kept running out of money and couldn't figure out why--but seeing you do the food in the first part without trucking it to another set of trains (for Adana and Aleppo) was the thing I needed to know. I was over-complicating it in the beginning, and costing myself valuable money by doing so.

A quick tip on digging for treasure: You can save a lot of money by maximizing your dig circle size then just clicking on an area once (i.e. not holding down the mouse button). The game only recognizes if you have found goodies after you release the mouse button, so a few clicks are enough to trigger the script to continue without spending $$$ to excavate the whole area down to the water table. I learned that the hard way after spending millions to find the gemstones in the Russian scenario...

Ever noticed the perfectly flat valley between Eregli and Adana? Curvy but MUCH cheaper than straight (high-speed) tunnels through the mountains. And more in line with the engineering technology of that time...

Can't you change a Terminus station into a through station simply by reconfiguring it and moving the building to the side?

Great stuff! Wonderfully narrated, very pleasant tempo. One suggestion for you: in order to make hubs more efficient create a second line and assign it and itrs trucks to the second platform. So, instead of 40 trucks using one overloaded platform; you knowmay utilize 20 trucks on 2 platforms. More efficient, less loss of resources. For 'take and give' industries use a 4 platform layout.
