This brand new Dassault Falcon 8X HB-JSD is seen taking-off at Bern with an outstanding short-field performance and a strong climb-out.
The Falcon 8X has an ultra-long-range of 6,450 nm (11,945 km).
Maximum operating altitude is 51'000 feet. Three powerful Pratt & Whitney Canada PW307D turbofan engines provide a speed of up to Mach 0.9 (516 kn; 956 km/h).

Not sure if I just witnessed a rocket or a private jet. These are great jets, the only things I don't like are no thrust reverse on the side mounted engines and I prefer the horizontal stabilizer to be on top of the vertical stabilizer. Still, any trijet is a good looking aircraft.

Falcon has some great trijets. In the case of an emergency (one engine not operating) the three-engine Falcon still has two-thirds of the power compared with only half for a twin. Another reason is the number of accessible airports with a trijet. It can operate from short runways.
