I am not sure if Liaquat Ali Khan actually refused to accept muslim refugees from other parts than East Punjab, as claimed here, and it does not add up to me with a large number of urdu speaking muslim refugees in Pakistan called Muhajirs. I guess its baseless unless a reference does exist.

Pakistan was created by keeping religion in mind and by ignoring every another thing like language. Abul Kalam Azad said during partition that East and west Pakistan can't remain United even for 25 years and his prophecy was right , Bangladesh was created after 24 years.
