Data East Monday Night Football Pinball Machine

I have a workshop again!! :-) 1989 Stern Monday Night Football pinball machine. Very rare in Europe as less than 1500 were made and we still don't "get" American football over here (mind you I don't get soccer either, Rugby or anything with an engine in for me!) so not many were imported. Great fun with a jump ramp and goal post that comes out of the playfield and the music isn't annoying like a lot of Sterns.

Played this Data East pin when it was new, I was a teenager , it was so easy , about all I recall is playing forever... I want to say that Class of 1812 was next to it (maybe Class of 1812 was a bit just before or after but pretty sure both games were at the same arcade at the mall)

A new one on me too, I like the pop up ramp - it looks like a fairly difficult shot to make as well.

Memories! I used to always hate when I accidentally hit the targets that switched the jackpot from "2 Million" to "Double Score and Bonus Hold" while in multiball. That is, until I realized that "double score" did NOT mean "turn on that flashing '2x All Scores' for 20 seconds" when my score suddenly went from 8 million to 16 million.

Just noticed: The lift up ramp is from Jokerz and the skill shot on this machine looks a lot like the one from Cyclone, both machines came out 1 year prior to this ;)
