Data vault is a compelling architecture for an enterprise data warehouse using SQL Server 2012. Jeff Renz has been working in the IT industry for 14 years, the last 10 of which has been focused on designing and implementing data collection and reporting solutions. He is currently working as a consultant for RevGen Partners. Certified by the Genesee Academy as a Certified Data Vault Data Modeler.
Leslie Weed is currently a Consultant with RevGen Partners in Denver, CO. She has been working with SQL Server for over 13 years in various industries including manufacturing, finance and retail. Leslie strongly believes the best SQL goes hand in hand with a good cup o' joe.

I noticed that there was a column SuperbowlMVP in the table 'Season'. However,what if the original/source table 'Season' contains only the SuperbowlMVP's id and another original/source table ,let's say 'Player' contains both the SuperbowlMVP's id and SuperbowlMVP's name. If so, what does the table satSeason look like ? It will only contain SuperbowMVP id ? And we then create another 'reference' table 'Player' which conains both id and name? or satSeason will 'absorb' both the id and name ?
