The beer is excellent, learned directly from the Germans 600+ years ago and every town and village has various liquors. Because of this law, we increase the statistics of Poland, its idiotic. But you dont need to drive to Poland if youre under 20, you can find places that will gladly sell you alcohol, you just need to know where :)

I am from Republic of Moldova and I can't be proud of this statistic, but I can say that it's true. It is almost like a social interaction thing. People are drinking from a small age like 13 years old and a lot of them fell like it's time for quiting at the age of 20! That's a fact. I can tell from my own experience.
