Go for internships with some Ai companies. That will be more helpful than any theoretical courses or degrees or certificates. Data science is little bit hard and you cannot pass interviews with those degrees and certificates. What This guy said was right. Data science is not about everyone. If you are good at statistics, you can start this as career. To start career go to get some internship with some IT company. They wont pay you or won't give you a certificate. But you will be working with professionals in data science so eventually you acquire skills. There are some ai data science schools that help people with with skills and curious about learning, like School of Ai, Data Science Academy.

It is not compulsory that you have to learn maths in your schools, but what i pointed out in video is - you should learn a lot of mathematics to excel in data science as a career - not just a job. please understand that there are some significant difference between a job and career. to excel in data science career the skills in mathematics, algorithms etc are very important. You can learn maths anytime. but the question is does it worth an effort.

Data science is mostly based on statistical methods, model building & programming skills. I suggest you to go through a small online course ( many are available for free) and then decide, whether to pursue it as your main subject or not for your graduation stream.
