Hi Lorenzo, date_added data type should be converted to date, then select YEAR(date_added), normally it should work :)

Hi, once you select your date, you can choose 'year' if yo want only years, and 'exact date' if you want the date displayed as it is, normally this will work :)

Yes sure! We can put it this way, backend is everything you do that the client will not see, all the data cleaning, for example creating calculated fields, parameters, how you format and so on, and the frontend is the final result which is in our case the dashboard, the dashboard is what you will present at the end. Actually yes I used the file directly since it was ready and there are some missing data but it is the only information available and it is enough to create the dashboard :)

How can I make it so that I can filter the titles by individual genres? So the viewer can use it as a tool to filter and find what to watch based on interest.

You put genre in the filter and you select the different types

@@DataScienceRoadMap Since the titles can have up to 3 different genres, I would like to filter the genres so that I can find a show or movie based on just 1 or 2 genres. So if something was Comedy, drama, international, I could see the title when I filter it by any one of the genres. That way I can find it if I search for just "comedy" or just "drama".

@@dhwani2028 yes, actually this was the problem and also why I did not use it as a filter in the first place, if we split the string into separated words, then we get three columns, which is not accurate, one way is to rearrange the dataset using pandas for example and create the dashboard with the new dataset, but I used the dataset directly with the available information in it :)

For those who copy the raw data, just know you will have to clean up the raw data. This is good practice. That way when you import into Tableau it will work correctly.
