Hello, Thank you for sharing information and for the video. I have some questions: 1. Do we generate fact tables based on surrogate key? these keys are artificial generated. If our fact table saves facts for customer related data such as total sales , total profit for customer, so: 2. since fact table is generated with surrorage key of dimension table, we will have more data for the same customer on fact table. what should be the structure of the fact table in this case to find total profit of one specific customer? 3. if somehow our dimension is truncated, deleted, we could generate dimension from source tables but we cannot generate same surrogate key again for the same customer if we use sequence. I mean if we loose relation between surrogate key and customer, our all fact tables will be useless based on customer surrogate key. How can we handle this situation? Should we generate surrogate keys not from sequence but from some algorithm that will include natural key, so we can genearate same key for the same customer again? thank you
