Dates make cakes so soft and moist 😍 and it always brings a strong and delicious flavor! Love the crunch on those walnuts! It seems very nice 😊

Treacle sugar is needed for the colour and flavor but u can try. PS its not my recipe it comes from the boeka treats Cookbook so I just followed the recipe
