My friends and I normally go to the Round1 in Hayward and it’s like.. 40-ish bucks per person per hour 😬 I’ve been loving the vlogs and have been binge watching them since I found out you had a vlog channel from your TPTea video!! (We had to go to the one in Berkeley asap after watching the video) 10/10 would get tie guan yin milk tea with QQ noodles again!!

That’s so wild that bowling is THAT expensive there!!! Here in Sac, it’s only like ~$20 something for unlimited games and I think that includes shoe rental too. Me and my bf use to bowl often enough that we got our own bowling balls and shoes so we don’t have to pay for that anymore lol. It’s also nice that our regular bowling alley has deals like every day! So it’s an inexpensive, fun activity to do here. At least at our alley and not somewhere more bougie haha.

Bowling has suddenly become super expensive about a year/year and a half ago where I am! There used to be a single place (small mom and pop bowling alley) that had been in my community for 20+ years. It wasn't too well-kept, but it was super cheap and always a fun time! It got taken over by Bowlero (a giant company/monopoly ugh) and now costs $40-50+ per hour per person, effectively pricing me and my friends out. A few years ago it was a special deal for $10 on some nights! Now it's way too expensive. Corporate greed ruins everything. :( Glad to see that the cats are starting to get along! It's a process, but they'll love each other soon ❤

You should try Bowleros in Milpitas or 4th St Bowl in San Jose. Much cheaper than $50/hr but they don’t have lanes open on weekdays until 9:30 pm since they host leagues.

Did you know that tricolor cats have a divine meaning? Legend has it that hundreds of years ago, Tibetan monks decided to go on a fast bc they could not agree on theology. At end of the fast, a tricolor cat with kittens appeared. The monks, concerning themselves with taking care of these new additions, forgot about their disagreements completely. Bowling alleys make the most money from open bowling (non-league) and the bar. League bowlers (people who play regularly on teams) help cover basic costs of running the business but just like everything in life, it's more and more expensive to run. For the last twenty years bowling was down in popularity and many places had to close; Bowlero is a corporation that actually bought out a bunch and was able to keep them open. Anyway, the cost of a game these days will vary depending on the time you're there, kinda like how Uber rates depend on when you're riding. Bowling's popularity has stabilized somewhat thanks to all the moves by Bowlero and the USBC and younger leadership and stars in the sport. It's still kind of a blue collar golf: much more accessible and much more family friendly. But yeah, that's why it costs more now.
