After finding this song, obsessing with it, and realizing every page I see with the lyrics being inaccurate, I spent a couple of hours relistening to it and went as far as using WavePad to isolate the vocals (it's not flawless but helped a lot) and I'm 99% certain I got the lyrics correctly, so I'm posting it on every upload. PLEASE NOTICE ME I WORKED SO HARD ON THIS (explanation after the lyrics) (Easy x8) How do you think it feels? Anything is easy play How do you think it feels? Any day from 9 to 5 Why do you cry and still Many kinds of good days Try you to sense a way It's coming here By and by It's pretty good That's pretty high! They stay And dash The ea-sy air I say How low Before I'll escape from (the sky) Oh I love to send in my breath for you (Oh you say you are sorry) Just sorry to hear what you say (It's all a mess that I am) I want you to love me so here I am (Here I am, Are you all free?) And we have more reed under my feet (Ahh~) / [Alternatively: "And the Earth moving under my feet (Ahh~)"] How do you think it feels? If I have to go to find And do you love to see Any day from 9 to 5 for joy Do you cry and still Many kinds of good days How do you think it feels? Standing here Day by day? Never be afraid It's another pace! Don't let (Don't let) Me go (Me go) Without (Without) Your love (Your love) Maybe (Maybe) To stars (To stars) It only understands in flight (Only understands in flight) Oh I love to send in my breath for you (Oh you say you are sorry) Just sorry to hear what you say (It's all a mess that I am) I want you to love me so here I am (Here I am, Are you all free?) We have more reed under my feet (Ahh~) / [Alternatively: "And the Earth moving under my feet (Ahh~)"] I send Down the road The best friends I could cry I fear without Your reply I live by the moon But I know You was cool As I know it myself Come to me While I sleep Hey Won't you kill me once I can't fly? How do you think it feels? (Once I can't fly?) How do you think it feels? Why don't you cry here? Oh try, you to sense a way (It's coming by and by) How do you think it feels? (I have to go now) And do you love to see? (If I have to find you) Oh why do you cry and still (With good days?) How do you think it feels? (Make me fly day by day) See the screen made improved You may be a stranger in paradise If I could make you a movie star Through the window of the feed We're just here learning for ourselves Here we go, please don't you cry Because it happened to drive ourselves Wonder why? (Admit it) So, after enjoying this song so much and paying so much attention to the lyrics, I feel like I got a pretty good grip on what it all means. Obviously it was written/performed by a Japanese woman who doesn't/didn't have the best grip on the English language, so some of the lines might sound like nonsense, but it's just a case of artistic expression being lost in translation, I'm sure. In a word, the song equates to dreaming/being in love to flying, and how having a job and being stuck on the ground is... boring/hard to deal with; this is why I believe the word "reed" in the line "We have more reed under my feet" makes the most sense. I saw elsewhere the line being interpreted as "They ask under my feet" but the "ask" sound is actually a snare sample making it seem like the word "ask" -- but using WavePad to isolate the vocals, it sounds clearly like "We have." And more to the point, it absolutely makes a lot more sense to say "reed under my feet" as an analogy about being awake/in reality for a Japanesse person -- long story short, reeds are symbolic, they can be interpreted literally as just being out in the fields AND as some sort of supernatural/dreamy place. Anyhoo, kind of ahead of its time when nowadays we use the term "touch grass" to mean "go outside," which is just another way of telling someone to stop living in a fantasy (or a dream world, if you will). You know, "your head is always in the clouds?" Or, as the song puts it, "I live by the moon..." [EDIT: It was pointed out that the lyric might actually be "And the Earth moving under my feet" so I put it next to it! It's probably more correct but I can't be sure, it's probably the hardest line to hear clearly.] Another thing that motivated me a lot to get the lyrics down exactly is because I couldn't find the backing vocals in certain verses, which are obviously the hardest part to hear at all, much less clearly. But I succeeded! The part that really gets me is the "Hey, won't you kill me once I can't fly? How do you think it feels? (Once I can't fly?)" I'll just let that sit. I love this song so much, and now that I know the lyrics fully (as best as I could manage without literally getting ahold of the vocalist), it's brought me to tears. I hope someone else will feel similar emotions.

I love this song but I do hate the playlist for this is made to seem this song appears in the game when it never does. This whole playlist is just Date of births Planet DOB album. The actual OST for the game does use snippets of some songs but it’s nothing like this. Most of the songs in the actual game are 10-20 second loops. There’s actually not any singing in any of the songs in the game either. The only actual voice being spoken is from Mill the squirrel and he just counts 1234. Again love this album and this song but it’s now a whole misconception that this song and others in this playlist actually play in levels.

It's criminal that music like this got overlooked back then. If only people had a wider taste in music in other parts of the world it would have taken off. I've been a fan of dnb, techno, jazz dnb (ltj bukem and goodlooking record label) since the 90s. Music like this was underrated in the 2000s, with the advent of digital music making pop music more lucrative. In the U.S. you would likely prioritize pop music on your 50mb mp3 player leaving obscure music like this relegated to CDs which are pretty hard to upkeep and share as physical medium. Music like this was mainly heard in clubs and public spaces where one was able to play their cds and vinyl records for a crowd making it more underground.

@@shin-ishikiri-noMy country (Brazil) unfortunately is also at this level. We have cutting-edge music, but people insist on listening to the most rotten mainstream music, it's sad to see our entire culture becoming something "elderly" or "underground"

What an outstanding track! Also here from the Jungle PSX Mix. Such a bop, this could have been big on it's own. Many pop girlies are trying to get to this sound in 2023. WTF!!!

It's a playlist from a Date Of Birth album mislabeled. The album is indeed samples and uses loops for the game. Anything with lyrics isn't on the game soundtrack.
