I almost didn't click on this video because this is so not a topic I want to think about because it frustrates me beyond belief... Alas, you guys never disappoint and I do feel encouraged especially after reading the description! Oh and I just have to say, I'd totally watch a 45 minute video without hesitating. We shouldn't leave the other 50% off the Masters Fam out though so I'll be sure to keep an eye out for part 2 on Thursday. One more thing, May's bible study was amazing! Truly just what I needed and Tori's prayer at the end... SHEESH. Hit close to home in the best way - got me all choked up! Really struggling over here but grateful for you guys and the brightness you bring to each one of my days. You're making a difference for the kingdom and I'm honored to be a part of the fam!!

Loved this video! I have been in relationships where boundaries weren’t clearly set and that always created so much room for sin. Also advice from my experiences, just take your time and allow the Lord to guide each step! And if you’ve never been on a date (guy or girl) own that because that is amazing!! Thank you Tori and Chad for the wise counsel you provide for our little fam 💛

The last question is basically what is happening to me.uhhh... I decided to date him. He is my first boyfriend (and I am 22). He accepts me, my boundaries, he came to church with me... I pray for him, and i believe in Gods plans and that He can do everything. It was a hard decision and it is hard every day. But he is basically my best friend, the most loving, trying-hard, accepting human ever. We actually have the same picture of the future we want. It is crazy how similar we are even though we have different beliefs. God is on the first place in my life and i would LOVED it if my husband believed as much as i did. But the reality is so much more complicated.. We have to sacrifice something, it is so hard so so hard to find a good man, educated, accepting... I think there is no right answer, but i can't wait for next video! Greetings and love from Croatia
@caribanna3 жыл бұрын
There will always be a right answer although it might be the toughest answer to swallow. It’s always best to choose God because the goal is always to have a spouse who can encourage/lead you in your faith through the good and the bad times. That’s not really going to be the case with a nonbeliever. It’s a hard choice to make but God is able to see you through your decision in honouring Him with the choices you make. God’s plans are so much bigger than what we can imagine and although the pool might look really small for godly men, He will always come through in some way 💕

@caribanna3 жыл бұрын
@@Akichinay584 I completely understand how you feel. Especially with us being in Europe where atheism is pretty much the mainstream, it is very difficult to find a godly man. Here in the U.K. it’s the same with the ratio of men to women in church being so skewed to be majority women. I’m also in my early 20s and I do see many women in my church young adults group that are in their mid-20s/30s that are still single and wonder if I’ll be in that same position in a few years as well. Although sometimes I do feel discouraged, I just know deep down in my heart that I won’t be happy with someone who doesn’t share the same faith as me. I’ve tried it but it always felt empty and like my faith would be an offence to them in some way because I believe that believing in Jesus is the only way to eternal life. All in all trusting in God’s plan and timing is the challenge. He’s got your back no matter what. We all need to find contentment in whichever season of life God has us in even if that is singleness in mid-30s or 40s. There will come a season where He will grant you the desires of your heart. Don’t lose hope! 💕
@mckaylaworld3 жыл бұрын
I love how you touched on the importance of seeing that our desires for relationship are OF God!! And I think especially for a woman to know that their desires for a relationship are important. I struggled for a long feeling like I just had to be "desirable" for a man, but this year I learned that it is okay that I have desires too! They are NOT something to carry shame about but to know that God created for a reason.

Such a good conversation! I just went on my first date this year (at 22) and have been navigating these questions a lot recently. Something I've found to be super beneficial for me while learning through this season is to learn first about how to make and maintain solid friendships, and of course solidify my relationship with the Lord. My favorite resources lately are the Prompt Us Podcast and Relationship Goals Reloaded with Pastor Mike Todd!

I was so excited to see this because it is so relevant for me! I'm currently struggling because I met someone recently who loves Jesus, deeply cares about people, has all the character traits of someone I would want to marry, and has shown an interest in me. I've gotten to know him a little bit in group situations. However, I'm not sure I'm really that physically attracted to him, and obviously that's not what the main priority is, but I'm having a hard time distinguishing between if I have feelings for the person or if I just enjoy being around them in more of a platonic sense. Not sure what to do because he is obviously a great guy. Also I know that isn't really a question but I thought maybe someone else was in the same boat and this question would be beneficial to more than one of us lol. Maybe it could be used in a future video or podcast?

I thought I would disagree with something, but you guys surprised me in a very good way. I'm Catholic☺️ and obviously Protestant theology is different in some ways, but this was a great video. I think if you read "The Theology of the Body" or "Love and Responsibility" by Karol Wojtyla you would love it and go deeper in this kinds of topics. 💛🤗

any advice on not allowing a relationship to distract you from also continuing your relationship with God? any dating books that you’d recommend ?

Y’all are so awesome❤️ It’s so interesting to hear y’all’s perspective on different boundaries and things in relationships, because I grew up quite different! Growing up in the Slavic Christian community, parents are pretty strict with boundaries (which include no kissing before marriage, sometimes some parents don’t allow holding hands or hugging either, as well as not being alone together for too long, etc). What do y’all think about that? Because I dont know if I’d be able to not hug my mans or hold his hand 😂🥺but some people stay away from that and are just fine :) one boundary I’m not willing to pass is kissing before marriage though... I’d wanna save that for marriage:). I think the more I grow up the more I learn about the importance of boundaries, and it’s such a deep topic! ❤️thanks for everything y’all :) such a power couple I look up to ☺️
