I love hearing young women speak positively about themselves. Aliyah , keep it up . How you speak and think about yourself really matters. Those college years go very fast.

Aliyah is a low maintenance friend, so she treats her friends as such. Nothing wrong w/ that, just have to learn her friends language is all. I’m the same way, I’ll ghost my friends for weeks. I don’t like to talk every day 😂

Good podcast. I know you said no shade. A business degree can be used in many areas in the corporate world. I have a business management degree and yes you all make more money than me but I am a manager at a major corporation. It took time to get the position but I enjoy the corporate life but I want to start my own business.

It’s okay to not know what you want to major in Liyah! I’m 21 and I will graduate with my Bachelor’s degree next month and I STILL don’t know what I want to do. At the end of the day we are still young and we have time to figure it out. As long as we are putting in the work and working toward something.

I’ve had my circle of friends since elementary and gained a few during middle and high. I found what works and I’m not always up for making new friends because these days folks be having secret animosity and that’s the weird aspect… my mom always tell me to watch out for toxic people and I see it now more than ever! Especially in college 🧐

I feel like women that come from 2 parent homes always run into the narcissistic broken men. We nvr realized how hard it was to really find our soulmates because we seen our parents work through everything. So we hold on because we know it’s possible

This was good, a really good one. I actually think Liyah is very mature, especially to have a convo like this. Let’s get fun police on the podcast, it may be some young men out here watching, who just want a man standpoint in dating, or just anything. Also, might be some women/ young ladies, who just want a man point of view on things.

Ohhh and another thing. So for vlogmas, do an episode where one of your daughters can go into a store they have a $500- limit to get what they want but has to be done in 2 minutes. 😊

Also the “ having to learn on her own, with friendships and relationship “ i agree, we won’t learn until we dealing with things on our own. My mom is like you, at any given time she is down to protect me and I’m 29 years old. But, I’ve learned what to tolerate and what not to. As long as no one is hurting her, she will get it.
