@@travis6694 I am young, and I've observed that it depends on the social circles that you hang out in. Most of my friends are in long-term relationships (not just 1-2 years, think more like 5+ years, even though we're in our mid-20s) and it's because I've chosen a circle of more introverted, self-assured and conservative friends, I guess, even though I'm none of those things. I think people like me are more likely to not be in a committed relationship.

I have witnessed the damage and confusion from a non committal lifestyle from friends, they seem more lost than found due to promiscuous behavior and jumping from person to person. Hurting themselves that way and/or there ex partners because of it. Personally when I have seen people wanting the benefits of a relationship without the relationship, it comes off as using people. I’ve also seen the other side as well as you have, conservatives choosing loyalty and choosing commitment. I do see love as a choice you have to make everyday, I think too many people depend upon a feeling that they think will sustain their relationship, it’s a shame that when people get bored they just want the next exciting thing and they rinse and repeat. We definitely live in the most non committal generation and I think there’s some concerns in the future about it.

It seems like Lana is a kind hearted soul who wants to be loved and appreciated. I think Mike was primarily interested in her for her sex appeal (ex: how they were set up). He may have found her personality endearing later on but I do think the way it started wasn’t entirely functional. I don’t really like Mike that much, he comes off pretty self absorbed and arrogant but I don’t think he’s awful. I do however think that it was sort of doomed since the start as it appeared largely physical and there wasn’t a huge intellectual connection between them.

Exactly notice when it’s up. My husband and I will have 15 years this June 5th and we don’t ever fight and really Haven’t since that first year or two. You learn when it’s up and don’t start fights over dumb things that aren’t actually important. I too think they are compatible but I do think Mike has the mentality that if he gives her her way then he’s “whipped” and that’s negatively talked about, what’s wrong with loving a woman so much you’re whipped. Also when someone is WELL known to have a wandering eye that person needs to either be with someone very secure or they need to put extra effort into not looking or overly complimenting. Hi, not to come off as cocky, but I would consider myself one of these beautiful women. I feel like men put on an act with me, they act more distant, more macho. They are intimidated by my looks and always just think “well if grace isn’t gonna talk to me she will find some other guy” and it builds resentment in them. It’s interesting how we can think that things are “just the way they are.” I’ve been learning a lot from your videos, questioning some of the things that I always submitted to as “normal.” I’m learning to critically analyze things in my relationships (platonic, family, and otherwise). It’s amazing to finally open up and see where certain things I always thought were “normal,” really aren’t. Sometimes unhealthy and toxic. Not to say that good people don’t make mistakes from time to time, but it’s eye opening to be able to at least mentally call out behaviors and patterns that aren’t the best. And even if it was “normal,” who says we have to settle for “normal” when we can go for something even better?

In my opinion....I think it totally has to do with what happened in GTA. Mike cheated on Lana one other time in "real life" and the second time was in a game....at least what we saw in the public eye. People hook up all the time after meeting in a game. And that showed Lana she really can't trust Mike and that he's really not all in with her. That's how I saw it anyway. On top of all the disagreements. Lana wants to settle down and I don't think Mike is in the same headspace as Lana....JMO.
