I see lots of my friends hanging out in clubs and bars who were with me in my school days. No one could ever differentiate me from them but now as we grew up things have changed. I do hold some of my dearest friends who share the same fate as me and we just wonder how tf do these guys who no girl ever looked at are partying every Sunday, dancing around hot and beautiful girls in expensive clubs ,like how tf do their parents Even allow them. They all make cool instagram stories while i live my life on daily loop yesterday same as tomorrow with no rich kid privilege always wondering and hoping my life was like theirs. But the fact is one has to accept and settle with reality at some point of our lives . Mine is quite different from there's actually a lot. I've also realised ki high end coaching institutes like Allen and akash are also a major privilege, even a CBSE & ICSE board schooling is also a privilege which actually builds up a very strong base for the upcoming career and most of the kids in those institutes fail to realise what they have. Whenever I sit around with such guys and see them blaming their life i just speak to myself that what they are sad about is all that i could ever wish for. There's no joy left in conversations as it was back in school days maybe we were kids and never looked at each other with the frame of status and privilege. Things have changed

Ironically, most of the media we all consume (movies/shows/series/songs etc) shows the exact opposite of this, like an extreme poor guy dating an extreme rich girl, how their “true love” helps them to fight all the evils of society, conquer the world etc etc. The focus on “love” being an essential part of life in struggling days is so much that the moment most of us hit our teens, irrespective of what socio-economic stand we belong to, we want to just get into a relationship as soon as possible. It feels we will “miss” something very vital if we don’t experience love in those years. Thanks Media!

It is also a consolation to people who face the fear of being left out in carrier or life, cause we were never fighting on level grounds. This truly is one more really relatable eye opening video of Shwetabh bhaiyya on the harsh realities of comparing 2 individuals or people of different demographic backgrounds.

I can personally agreed to what all shwetabh said. Alhamdullilah, My parents always provide me good food and put me in a good school and now I am studying in one of the top university of my city but they all did it for me and they have literally spent their whole life in a debt and now there is some relief but there is still my fee which is too much if we compare it too other institutions. They did it all because to make me stable and to make my life better. Now, I have started working of myself to be best version of myself. InshaAllah, I will show my parents that their sacrifices was worthy. I have one problem that is I have no friends. I know some people but I dont have close friends. I spent most of my time in campus alone and sometimes with people whom i just got to know in class. Its not like that no one talk to me, they do but whenever I got friends with someone they started losing interest in me may be because I dont have car or money to hangout with them. But I dont focus on these things. I will just work now and spent my time effectively. Thank You Shwetabh bhai for me reminding me what i should do in life. I cant say much but you are literally BIG BROTHER and A FRIEND to me.

I am 12th student and i can relate to shwetabh Cause the recent environment around me is sane. Uncles are bothering and troubling constantly for ancestral property and asking for money constantly while tauji an papa are handling the family business on loans because of pending payments from clients. The household is at stake and feels guilty if i ask for anything. The emotional damage of relatives for separation money. And pressure of getting good marks is on other hand. I can't even think if i demand anything( i didn't asked for tutions too because of it while i have chosen science stream)how will they pay for it. I don't know why but i got a south bombay jr.college after 10th. And my all classmates are those kids who are absolutely spoiled brats Always talks about clubs parties and their whole lifestyle is better than me. I just feel suffocated while hanging out with them. Like they have only relationship problems to discuss 🙄 that is don't have any best friend. Now family expects me too tolerate all these problems and become a extrovert too 😒 🥲

Bhai .. living in both India and the US , I can tell you the socio-economic situation is not the same as been portrayed usually through Hollywood movies. Not every 17 year old comes from such a stable family situation where they live a normal teenage lifestyle .. Yeha ke issues ek alag level pe hai (Single Motherhood, Drug Addiction, College debt etc). Life on HARD MODE yeha par log khel te hai. I grew up in India till 12th, my middle class parent through savings and through budgeting sent mein to US for Undergrad. I was lucky to get get enough financial aid to afford the school ..but that's it. My college life was completely on HARD MODE compared to other American Kids. Studied Engineering, while working odds jobs to make rent and food etc..I made my first girlfriend after I got my job post graduation.. and that too once I had everything in order ( car, fitness, finances etc).

How did you manage to work when you were lonely ? I use to have alot of friends when I was in class 10 but then lockdown occurred my parents were serious about my future (but I was not,i use to only think about my friends and pubg ) i scored 82% took sci. maths ,my parents force fully took me to a coaching institute to meet a sir and he told me about jee (tbh itni mithi mithi baate boli , i thought it was a piece of cake) and he told me ki friends kahi kaam nhi aayenge friends ko chood doo at this i didn't say anything and he bold me by his next sentence "COVID will not end or tum apne friends se vaise bhi nhi mil paooge, or mujhe package bhi bataye lakhs crore k ). Or parents k samajane k baad i ready to leave my school. And then a new journey started I was motivated and studying well (was in top 5) and then lockdown ended and I attended my first offline class and soon realised that I had no one to talk to , again lockdown happened and this time i didn't study much because I was alone and was comparing myself to others(None of my friends( old school) even called me except for 1) . lockdown removed and now I'm in top 20 . I made some friends (selfish) they have gf they have money they are happy and after watching them i was like wtf life toh ye jii rahe h and also i thought meri life se ghatiya life kisi ki nhi hogi Puri duniya me . In the MID OF 12TH a girl joined our coaching. She lives 3 km away from my house so our route was almost same , tbvvh i never had a crush before in my whole life . I am emotionally weak , i use to fantasize/imagine/daydream/create fake scenarios about being together and i practiced distraction (about that girl) for about 6 hours(or more) in a day . Realised she had one . And yeah I was a jee aspirant and a av. guy (in studies) so it was very normal to feel depress and cry everyday . But when I get to know that she had one i literally cried first time because of external factor in these two years . Earlier I use to laugh and abuse people who use to cry for girl. I was not a type of a guy who wants to go into a relationship with a girl who already been into a relationship ( please don't get offended I'm like that only (correct me if needed )). But because i was obsessed with her (as i use to daydream 6,7 hrs ) i decided that then also I'll propose her after exams . And yeah i ruined my term 1 exam . I was not able to focus, jaise hii padhne betheta tha vo hii dimaag me aati thi ,use to cry becoz exams were near and me chah kar bhi focus nhi kar pa raha tha . Get to know about her dirty secrets on 31 December (was talking to a friend(selfish) he forced me to tell him about my crush and then I told him my crush and he told me something about her). Decided to change myself, 2 Jan. about after 6 months of regular practicing distraction it was the first day i didn't think about her . But now my hormones came into play and now I think that I need relationship. Please help me please

His frndz kinda forced me to say yes to him...but the guy was nice but kinda childish...he just wanted to flex to his frnds...that just become a distraction to me in my boards exam...it hampered my marks...but it was to late i suffered..and realized it later. Shwetabh always speaks about the reality everytime. I agreed to each and every point he said. We all are going through lots of issues and facing problems in our day to day life. Just remember that ‘Great things takes time' Never give up 🙃. Learned a lot from him throughout the years 🙏🏻. Thankyou so much shwetabh Bhai 🙏🏻❤️

I am pursuing my BSC degree in a good government agriculture college, after 2 years I will be graduated and start searching for job. I don't have money to go for pg. All the income of my father has been spent on my education, our small house with 4 rooms Haven't been renovated since 50 years. My younger brother's education is also dependent on me.
