22 here. Getting scared by your age or FOMO means you will be fvcked in near future (ruined my professional career) You are not allowed to fall into this trap. If you like comparing yourself with others, you shouldn't do it only based on their successes in life. You have no idea what they've gone through and how their future will look like. YOU. ARE. NOT. ALONE. Many people we see each day, IRL or online, had chaotic 20s that allowed them to grow into unique people with distinct, non-normies lives. If you follow the trends you are dictated, you'd get predetermined results... Stay agile with a positive philosophy towards change while searching for your path. Be hyper-conscious, learn from wise people & don’t get trapped into binge-watching videos or playing games because it's an easiest way to turn brains off and skip time. Current situation is your lifetime project, not an opportunity to live a day from childhood. may the power be with you!

@@ddfg-z1h Hi, I hope I understood you right. Have you ever asked yourself why you want a professional career? What’s so special about being a PROFESSIONAL for you? Is it competition, prestige, money, fame, or something else? *can use inversion technique or similiar for it Personally, I don’t see many downsides of being an amateur. It’s a well-balanced state with clear pros and cons, except you don’t carry the “prestigious” title of "Certified Senior Professional ABC in XYZ," which, honestly, is just bvllshit to feed our ego and CV/LinkedIn/Instagram pages or flex in public where people forget you the next day. I tried BUILDING a PROFESSIONAL career in esports-got a high rank, started networking with other players, and comparing myself instead of just focusing on what I liked to do. The ironic thing is, most world-class, SSS-tier players who made history never even aimed to go pro in the first place-they were just doing their thing. I wish I had that wisdom before everything fell apart. Some videos you might wanna watch from the person I deply respect, no "life coaching", you will be speechless after. great video. at the end of the day, it's all about having a slither of confidence. It's not embarrassing to live with your parents in your early 20s. if the girl you talk to has a problem with that, you most likely dodged a major bullet. obviously it's not a situation you wanna be in forever but most people do not have the advantage to leave sooner than that.

Finally someone with some reasoning. And imagine, there are plenty of guys who have their own place too but they can’t even get a date. But at the same time, there are guys who live with their parents but can still go on a good amount of dates. Boils down to confidence

I think it would be cool to hear your thoughts on renting versus owning a home (once you move out of your parents house). Lived at home through college so I could avoid student loans, then rented with a roommate for 2 years, then rented by myself for another 2 years, then finally bought a house in 2021 when interest rates were near the bottom. Every living situation has its pros and cons for sure!

To the guy whos living with his parents and trying to date: I feel you 100%. Been working 9-5 the past few months and been single for about 9 months. I still live with my parents as well, and between that and work/commuting, I have yet to find a way out of this situation. Hard to meet women (especially in person which I prefer) and taking them to your parents house is obviously not ideal🤣. I think im just gonna grind it out for a bit, save money, and use it as a time to work on myself and build skills and confidence. It’ll make moving out that much better. Best of luck to you too on the same journey!
@davidh783218 сағат бұрын
You don’t gotta do this but I recommend dating and saving up at the same time. That way, you can have fun dating and still reach your goals with getting your own place. Do what you think is good tho

The problem with dating while living at home is that you come off as boring. I’m 24 and I work, go to the gym, create KZbin videos in my room. That’s it. I make minimum wage ($15 an hour in IL, work 25 hours a week), so I try to save over 60 percent of my money towards the future. The rest is on food/gas/adobe and gym subscriptions. There isn’t much extra spending money left to do the “fun things” women my age find attractive in guys. Plus, I’m basically a hermit because participating in social activities requires money. Guess I’ll finally be desirable to women once they become single moms and retire from partying 😒.
