Kit is my Shiba Inu! I originally came to be his owner when we were working on a web series for Nestle back in 2012-2014. His original caretaker got sick and could no longer take care of him when he was just 4 months old, and we've been together ever since.
He turned three this year! Time flies!

Pets can give your life meaning when nothing else seems to be enough. They can give you unconditional love and understanding when nobody else seems to. My cat and my dog are definitely both part of my family. This was a lovely video x

Dogs are part of the family. I live abroad too and ever since I got Milo my dog my life has added purpose and the feeling of going home and having someone greeting you everyday is priceless. I rather be with my dog than friends who appear to be fake.

Mitchiko in Tokyo I totally understand that sentiment. Through everything, Kit is always happy to see me every single day, and some days more than others, the realization that someone is happily waiting for you at home is just the most reassuring thing.

I had a beagle for 7 years and he was my best friend. He always knew when i wasn't feeling alright or when i needed company because i was feeling lonely so he got into my room and stayed there, doing something to put a smile on my face... he always did it. I wish there were more pet-friendly places in my city. I would had loved to take my dog there. Kit is so adorable!!

What a gorgeous dog. Shiba Inu are always so dapper. Dog should get to be with their families as much as possible. I personally love the restaurants and shops that allow you to bring in your pets.

My dog was family , absolutely. She just passed away 2 weeks ago and I miss her so much, like she was my sister or my best friend ! I have spend half of my life with her so it will be hard to start an everyday life without her, without doing long walk in the woods , but I'm sure she as happy as we were to have her in our family ! (We walked her 4 times a day so I'm sure she was ) Animals are definitely part of family amd human world for me ! Kit seems so joyful thanks to you キット君、ミカエラと幸せだね！ Thaks for the video !

I will forever miss my dog Molly who sadly passed away before I got a chance to go back to England to visit. But she was definitely part of our family and I loved her even if she was a little silly at times.

I watched this together with my doggy and he got all excited seeing Kit lol. Usually when he sees dogs on TV he gets super angry, but with Kit he was wagging his tail like crazy! Lol they could be buddies! But yeah I totally agree dogs are a part of the family. I get the feeling that those who say they're not are always the people who have never kept a dog themselves so they don't really understand. They only see the stuff on the surface, but when you're actually living together 24/7 and you bond with your dog, you can totally have this awesome spiritual connection - I definitely love mine to bits and can tell that he's smart enough to know that and love me back too!

DKY Haha, when Kit broke his leg two years ago he wasn't allowed to move around until it healed so I would often put him in my lap and watch youtube videos with him to entertain him. It's so funny to see how our pets react to on-screen animals. Have you tried that "guaranteed to make your dog howl" video? It worked on Kit. Haha.

I don't have children, so my dog and past dogs have been family to me! They know when you are sick or sad and come over to cheer you up, plus it's so nice to snuggle up with them. I had two shitzus, one passed away after 11 years and I miss her to this day. My remaining dog Jack is an important part of my life...and those of my parents and rest of the family, so to answer you question... yes, I see my dog as a family member. Happy belated birthday Kit!

I think dogs are totally part of the family- they're social animals and need that "Family" structure in their lives or else they can become frustrated(Even destructive). Some of the most peaceful and enjoyable moments in my life have been spent with just my dogs. Looks like you and Kit had an awesome day trip. :) Love his harness too! Thanks for sharing, Micaela!

ビーチに行ったら、急にキット君がめちゃくちゃ元気になりましたね！やっぱり土があって、思い切り動けるところが嬉しいんでしょうね。ペットと一緒に過ごせる場所が、街中にももっと増えるといいですね。

そうそう！キット君は、去年まで水苦手だったけど、去年この同じ百道浜で、遊んで暑くなった時に、彼を抱きながら一緒に海に入りました。 (もちろん無理はさせなかったけど)、泳ぐ練習などもさせたらいつの間に自ら海にチョッピっと入ったりするようになりました。 今は海に連れて行くとものすごく元気になりますね。笑

I definitely rest in the camp that more places should be dog-friendly. Dogs have so many benefits not only to the family they live in but to people in public. Not everyone can have a dog but everyone can enjoy a dog. Having an interaction with a dog even if it's just 5 minutes helps make someone's day so much better and I wish more people understood that. Animal companions are truly special and beneficial and they should always be appreciated.

My dog is 11 and is literally a hairy toddler! Lol She's always been a member kf my family and we love her so much. We try to take her places and include her in alot lf things, but with her age its getting harder. Even tho she's a total granny she's in great health and as happy as ever!! Kit is precious and just looks so happy to explore and just be there with you!!

I view my cat and my dog as part of my family personally and think they should be allowed into the human world. It's fantastic that there's even restaurants there around you that allow your dog to come in. Where I live it's not allowed at all unless they're a service animal that is currently working. I hope maybe we can get with the times around here though at some point and have what you have too. It would be absolutely wonderful! But yes, I fully think dogs should be allowed into the human world and be allowed to go with their people places with ease and without being looked down upon. I'm super happy to see that you can do that with Kit ♥

I absolutely love that there are pet friends restaurants and taxis. I too believe a pet should be considered part of the family, because to them you are their whole world even if the are only a part of yours. Also, if you ever do a youtube meet-up again you should bring Kit. I don't know if I would be able to go unfortunately but I'm sure a lot of people would like to see him. I know I would.

I love my dog and i love these videos of yours im from NYC where there isnt many good places to bring dogs but i moved to florida in the last 20 yrs or so and enjoy having my little dog here she gets to run everywhere and she loves the water so its a good match for her.Your dog is beautful have fun.

My dog def feels human, keeps standing on her back paws to get closer to us (on our height) and get attention. She will sit on her back paws for a long time randomly watching her surroundings. It's pretty cute :D Your Shiba looks very beautiful by the way!

This video is so cute! Where I live in the USA it's pretty dog friendly so you can bring your dog to a lot of places. Some shop owners will leave bowls of water out for the customers dogs. There's just something welcoming about communities that enjoys having pets around. I think it's awesome, and my dog loves being able to hang with me lol.

I belive dogs have more emotions than we give them credit for. A few years ago, I was in a depression. It was just my dog and I alone for a whole year. Oliver, a Welsh Pembroke Corgi really helped me through, he was like a brother to me, we went through a lot that year. He died last year I really miss him.

百地浜は友人が住んでて、結構行ったことがあるので、懐かしく見ていました。 百地浜のビーチの向かいに確か水族館があって、そこにも行った記憶が。 ここ３年くらいは福岡行ってないけど、日本全国行った中で住んでみたいと思った唯一の都市が福岡でしたね。この時期は東京よりも一段と暑いのだけが難点ですが(笑)。でも、すごく都市と自然のバランスがとれていて好きな街ですね。

My dogs sleep with me...some on my bed. They free roam my house, never stay outside(I live in a hot climate and people still leave there dogs outside in bad weather) I even volunteer at a local animal shelter. I LUV DOGS!

Where I live, we have beaches and special dog parks where they can run free. I like to take her there because I know how much she enjoys running, and then we usually take a rest in a cafe. Greetings from Spain! Love your channel!

Our two dogs are definitely apart of our family. :). We just had a baby two months ago and I still find time to take them to pet events here when they happen and or just throw a ball around or cuddle on the couch. :) I love Kit. He is one gorgeous Shiba Inu :)

Kit is awesome. So cute! My favorite breed is the Labrador Retriever (we usually call it a "Lab" here in the U.S. - as you probably do in Canada.) I especially like the look of the chocolate brown kind. You look like a loving "alpha" (in their [dog] "culture" you are the "alpha dog"). I enjoy learning about Japan and your life in your vids! Really cool.
