Fairie Fire is much better. When you lay down the harass and keep them away so early during the laning phase, healing items become a waste, since most heroes can't do diddly squat at lv 3.

It's mostly just making lane dominators even stronger. Sniper and Lina are big lane dominators so they can shut down enemy mid with earlier timing and now enemy team is almost always guaranteed to basically 4v5 since their mid got shut down. Downside of this is going late since you have an alch and now your team is doing the 5v4+punching bag and enemy mid probably recover if late enough

I'm not sure if having 250 extra starting gold is overpowered. In ability draft, you can pick chemical rage on sniper (with his innate and everything). It gives you greed passive with it. And also, you become unkillable after you press R. The game is still playable though. Not strong enough to call gg.

You mentionned first blood, let me tell you that when I'm mid at 6k mmr, and my mid opponent gets FB on a teammate, and brings a bottle very early, you are absolutely DONE, because he will just push you out the lane before the first water rune spawn, and since he prevented you to farm you dont have bottle at 2mn so you get a naked water rune, while he gets 2 more bottle charges, and then you're absolutely done mid, there's no recovering without ganks most of the time.
