@@MistahWite yeah, rizpol used to make fun videos that I enjoyed even though he's clearly smurfing. recently though, his videos aren't fun anymore and I feel like he's just playing in guardian bracket where anything can work because his enemies don't know what to do. datohleong however, he may make significantly less videos but everything is well thought out and his builds actually works. some pros even took inspiration from some of his meme builds like his divine glass cannon medusa strat a few patches before hahaha

rizpol is a legend/ancient smurfing in herald-crusader. dtl is immortal smurfing in ancient-divine. its about the same, both content creator smurfing to churn out videos. DTL used to produce great videos like #10 things you missed at the international but I guess those videos don't get as much views and youtube algorithm forces people to make click bait videos. Dota2cinema has changed too, they went from symphony of fails + fails of the week into 1 min meme shorts.

I'm not trying to say he doesn't use a smurf account because that would be a waste of mmr if you try that in your main account but at least he's doing it against people who has a better chance at winning than guardians who will lose no matter what build you try because they don't know shit. I think the skill level of a low immortal vs divine and ancient isn't that far unlike a legend/ancient playing against guardians and herald.

Octarine is pretty creative on Morph. You're basically building your Morph form, hoping that your target scales with Octarine. I'm imagining it can be a bit like Manta for vs AM/PL, where it can be used to just play as the enemy hero. In terms of heroes you can copy, Octarine heroes tend to be low cooldown spellcasters, like Zeus and QoP. Like in game 3, CM is another case that "can" buy Octarine to scale as a backline spellcaster, usually if she can't scale with ult (vs Silencer). I think initiator heroes like Mars/Axe prefer Refresher usually, because their skills are balanced on not being able to stack their own stuns with low cds, having an 11s cooldown on Spear/Call which also kind of lines up with the 15s cd on Blink Dagger. I think of heroes as usually being either Refresher heroes, Octarine heroes, Doom (that can do both), or none of the above.

Seems pretty legit build depending on the game if you have a good target. It make sense considering that when you morph to the other hero you get up to 3 more spells. So Octarine reducing a total of 6 spells CD can be pretty strong not including items. Similar reason to why Invoker get Octarine. If you are not expected to carry, it can be very deadly such as being able to copy a QoP and the enemy team lack lock down.

0:54 goes without saying. Morphing into Puck takes a certain amount of effort if you're a Puck player because all the spells are on different keys for some reason.. I think it was when they changed Rubik stealing to include toggles in spells from Puck, Morph, Io, etc they messed with how Morphling morphs but didn't bother
