Datsun 240Z exhaust sound

Hi everybody, It has been a while since I uploaded a new video.
Because is has been such a long time my Datsun 240Z is ready to be driven. My 240Z is now fitted with a MSA 3 - 2 Header and a "twice pipe" exhaust system. The car sound loud and mean, but it is no overkill of sound.
I have to say, after driving it for a month or 4, I really love it! I have big plans the upcoming years for my 240Z.

I love how if you listen closely you can hear the exact point where it reaches 6,700 to 7,000 rpm it’s an absolutely beautiful sound and it’s beautiful that a machine with that many parts can work all together in perfect harmony

I own a 280zx with the l28e in it. It has an aftermarket four-pipe exhaust, and sounds very similiar to this 240z. This is awesome.

Thats a fantastic sounding Z, I rescued a 76 280z 2+2 out of a junkyard back in 2019 and have been watching many videos to figure out what exhaust system I want to eventually put on the car. Luckily I have the N42 head with a upgraded cam and oiling system but right now, I just have a cheap exgaust system on it because it was only the downpipe when I got it, (sounded awesome but super loud especially backfires). Thank for sharing.

better be quick then, because where I live the prices are already going up since I bought the car (i live in the Netherlands). In Europe a 240z is actually quite rare, so could have to something with that :).

yes, this is the 3-2 MSA header with at the end a glass-pack muffler. Thanks! It is quite loud, but for a classic sports car is perfectly fine to so much noise :).

BMturtle 666 the best thing about these cars is nissan primarily sold more of these cars for the U.S and we got bigger engines which were 2.4 liters where other countries got 2.0 liter engines.

Old car. It's not that bad. Mostly looks to be black smoke so it seems to run a bit rich. But that's what happens when you rev it a lot.
