DATSUN 240z FENDER repair- DESTINATION Z EP. 3
This week I take a step away from the main body of the 1971 Datsun 240z and do some "fun" work on the fenders!

Just finished doing driver's side pan, rear quarter, rocker, inner wheel well, and all that in-between..

How are you going about those two bolt on the bottom that hold it on? I did the front of the rocker repair first. Straight shit show.. all day Sunday but it done.. looks OEM. Great work btw 👍

Came out nice. I hope you will be lightly spraying the back side with primer ,paint and BEDLINER 2 component like Raptor. That panel rusts from wiper motor tray dumping rain water mixed with bugs leaves, right onto that rear quarter of the fender with no real escape route. A few smart people add tubing to direct the water in front of the end of the rocker and to the ground. Factory wasn't expecting a 50 year life span !

Yessir! I use the vulcan omnipro 220, it’s a fantastic machine and I use it a ton!
