Guys go for it.. I will rate it 8 out of 10 for 2019 model.. high ground clerance, good inside space, tall boy, AMT, extended warranty of 4 years, reasonable price..easily u can save 1.5 to 2 lakhs when compared to other similar cars.. drive in reasonable speed n in control will definately make u happy..

Suspension is good only and car has also has best ground clerance..AMT gear shift is good only and I am driving from last 1.5 years..u also have manual mode n u can use it which gives more power. I suggest u test drive it and u will get to know fully..AMT is very good option since u can drive tension free..there is a small lag in AMT which u will adjust to it after few weeks of driving

Datsun is Nissan subsidiary, and nissan is doing well with its Magnite. So no its not closing down any time soon. May be you stay in metro cities, but Datsun sales are steady where i stay in small towns.

Kwid is far ahead of this Datsun . With boot space of 300Litres . You can even carry your dog there. And in the new kwid you get a 14inch wheel. The digital speedometer is way ahead of other cars. The inbuilt GPS system is also good with 7/8inch(facelift) screen. Do the same performance test with 4 people in the car and luggage in the boot, the engine won't be as vocal as you said.

I drive the 1.0 ltr amt model and let me tell you ever since I started driving the redigo I dont enjoy my ford ecosport anymore. Amidst crawling traffic in gurgaon and NCR it is a boon and stress free drive. Being a budget car has its flaws as well but that power to weight ratio compensates for everything along with the excellent road view it offers👌

@@ataullahspm103 highway speeds of 90-100 is decent too returning a mileage of 17-18kmpl. Overtaking maneuvers need to be planned as it is a 3 cyl engine but the manual transmission along with AMT is available to extract more power till redline.

Did you consider alternatives like S Presso/Kwid? I am looking at a city car which can be used within 5-10 km , in narrow lanes etc as a second car. Essentially something that is safer and more comfortable than a scooter. Because of that I am not concerned with boot space, etc, the smaller the footprint the better. I guess the Redigo would suit the purpose ?

@@theacechip I took a test ride of the kwid AMT but wasn't happy with the rotary knob for gear shift. Also the kwid missed out on the shifting to manual feature so found the overtaking in redigo 1.0 AMT much convenient and I am using it for near about runs within a radius of 10kms except doing a few highway runs too. It's a hassle free experience so far. One of my friends test drove the spresso and said that the AMT is better than the redigo but I simply didn't like the overall shape and aesthetic of the spresso. The new gen redigo has considerably improved with a touchscreen and all so it's a very good option. Service costs are reasonable as well so doesn't burn a hole in the pocket.
