game is so fun, looking forward to playing more. would love an option to have music play during gameplay. realized as i was watching that there wasn't any. also, some of the tutorial things that pop up during gameplay were a little tough to recognize while in the middle of playing (i didn't realize the energy meter was a thing for WAY too long, figured it out eventually) because they appear only for a couple of seconds. having those stand out just a smidge more or stick around longer would help, again, even if it's figured out relatively quickly.

Commissioning a full OST rather than just menu music, and of course fixing the tutorial stuff & bugs. There are some specifics to how the game's physics work we'll try to highlight too. So grateful you guys tried it, and I'll be working hard on improving it with the hope you'll revisit it some day. 🔥⛳

Looks really fun Lazy Monday! I really like the ability to hit while the ball is moving, and the time component of scoring :) Not to take too much advantage of you being here, but… it seems like the inertia/friction slows down and the balls don’t “shoot” and roll as wildly as some other mini golf games. Though it feels “slow” to watch, perhaps it was an intentional decision to aid in hitting and aiming strokes while the ball is moving? The streamers didn’t seem to mind, and I bet it made Datto’s skip move near the end a bit easier :) I don’t know how hard it would be to port (forgive me!) but I’ve always thought these multiplayer mini golf games looked fun, but I don’t know any good ones for iPad/iOS or MacOS. Regardless, even if it’s in beta, it looks very fun! Would love to play this, see more courses, the later holes had some interesting layouts :)

@@evshrug Hey, thanks a lot for your comment! For the speed side of things you're right that it's at least in part to aid in hitting and aiming shots. A big part of the game is using mechanics like the balloons to reset your energy, and once you get the hang of how the recharge works you can play really pretty fast. Taking a shot 'resets' your velocity, so there are a lot of skips over fences etc that become possible once you're used to shooting mid-air. Overall though, it's important to us that you can't just fly through the entire course with one hit, since it's about making decisions at each turn / ramp and staying a part of a close race. There are modifiers that speed up play as well, like faster recharge and bouncier physics so if you desire to play faster that's possible. On the side of ports, that's something we're aiming to do once we're into the early access period. We're going to target consoles as well as Linux + OSX, but it's unlikely that we'll get to mobile any time soon. Really appreciate your thoughts and it's a good reminder that there's interest on the OSX side of things ❤

Watching this content makes me happy. It's really refreshing to see Datto play other games and just laugh and joke with friends/other content creators. Especially after his video about feeling really down about D2, this is good to see.

He didn't say he was feeling down for D2, or did I miss something? He said that the changes are deserved and the only thing he is concerned about master and normal VoG sharing the weekly lockout. D2 is at a good state rn, only pvp and gambit are bad but those are still fun with friends or with fun loadouts.
