There is a medication I take for my IBS/stomach issues called _hyoscyamine._ From the research I've done this is one of the active alkaloids found in the Solanaceae family, which includes scopolamine. Hyoscyamine is the precursor (possibly the wrong phrase) to scopolamine and both are intense deliriants.

My grandfather showed me where it grew, and he called it "the local weed." He said old Indian medicine men used to take it, but that he never would, and made me promise I never would... He said he saw dumb kids try to get high on it over the years, and they always had REALLY bad experiences. Thanks Grandpa! 🙏 I miss you every day!

Yep.... I ate a whole pod, roughly 50 seeds when I was 14. That was the most vivid and disturbing trip I have ever had. It was a truly terrifying experience. I talked with people who looked like my friends but were not them. I watched my dogs head wrap around a chair to look at me. I threw up buckets of sand. I eat part of my blanket because I thought it was candy. I chased my TV remote all over my bed. Then I thought I died. When I woke up I couldn't believe what I'd experienced. To this day I remember every moment of that trip. I don't regret it and I'm grateful for the experience but I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT...

So I had no idea how bad this stuff was when I was 17. My then boyfriend thought it would be a good idea to track this stuff down when he ran out of pot. He made a tea from the seeds. I absolutely refused to try it as he wanted me to. He had been online for hours researching it. I spent the next 24 hour baby sitting him while he lost his mind. This man was over a foot taller than me and much bigger. I somehow convinced him to not run out of the house as he kept trying to. He pissed on him self many times. Talked to the washing machine for 3 hours. Then cried for a very very long time in the corner. He Broke a lot of stuff but never got violent with me thankfully. He insisted on being in the shower alot. This entire 24 hours he would not keep clothing on. I sat with him and he finally fell asleep. This whole experience was a horrible for me and him. He woke up and said it was the worst night of his life and doesn’t even remember me being there.

I did datura when I was 18. It was very scary. The hallucinations were like real life interactions with people who weren’t really there and dream type hallucinations about things I’d seen on TV and memories that were deep in my subconscious. The trip lasted for many hours. The next day I had no short distance vision, I could not read my watch because my pupils were dilated so bad during the trip. The drug was so powerful, I totally forgot I had taken a drug. It was no fun at all.

We did that shit too when we were like 16-17ish (around 2007). Three dudes, brewing tea from the actual datura flowers. I was the only one to make it home kinda safe, hallucinating whole conversations with my friends and other people . At some point I heard voices whispering my name, getting louder until they would scream ( I was completely alone at home) and decided it was time to go to bed. What followed was a night of the worst nightmares i've ever had. One of the other dudes, we parted ways like 50 meters from his house, did not get home. He stumbled over a field into a nearby forrest, hallucinating me and the third dude calling him into the forrest and hiding behind every other tree. He walked the whole night and reached the next city (like 15km away). The third dude trashed his mom's appartment, took all the pictures of the walls and showered them in the bathtub, ripped out all cables in his room and wraped them around the ceiling light. He later stated that he could see trough walls and a giant spider behind the wall was watching him and waiting to kill him if he moved. He also cut himself on a broken coffee mug and made a huge bloody mess... all in all 10/10 would not recomment or do ever again myself. Datura is no joke at all.

I had two friends who had a really bad trip on this stuff. It grows wild where I live (or it did in the 80s when I grew up - that area is pretty much all built up now, but it used to grow wild in the fields near my home). One day two of my buddies called me up and asked if I wanted to drink some Jimson weed tea. I told them hell no and that was that. Five days later one friend gets out of CMH (county mental health) and the other is still there and they think he might end up having permanent psychosis. He finally came home after a couple of weeks, but he was never the same again. He had a rough life afterwards and I lost touch with both of those friends decades ago. I heard on the street that the one that really tripped out wound up killing himself. I don't know if that trip had anything to do with it, but I'm really glad I didn't go with them that day.

Did it a couple times in my teens. Was taking a shower while having a conversation with like 4 of my friends who were sitting around the edge of the rub on both sides. They WERE there, I was having a two side conversation with them while washing my hair. After turning back around from under the shower I realized there was nobody there but me. It was an absolutely real hallucination and I had many others similar to it. The potential for disaster is HUGE with Datura, because hallucinations ARE your reality. I am glad and feel lucky I survived.

As a dumb, experimental teen, my friend and I were in his hang out den, sipping datura tea, couch locked and talking for hours about how we didn't really feel anything. Then a perfect copy of him walks into the room toward the version I was talking to and sat right on top of where he was already sitting, melding with himself. He asks me, "you ok? I was in the house for a while but decided to check on you".. I told him we had been sitting there talking for hours, and we locked eyes and realized we would never know which version of him was the real one that whole time. This was over 20 years ago and I recently looked it up and realized how dangerous it is! I also recently heard about the cigarette hallucinations, which is crazy, because I knew nothing about the phenomenon back then, and reading about it triggered a memory of the experience. The whole time I thought I was talking to my friend, I marveled at how he was smoking this strangely glowing cigarette that never burned down in over 2 hours. I was trying to get out of this sleep paralysis feeling to tell him to be careful, because my eyes were open just enough to see him nodding off and lowering the cigarette toward his leg. What a weird trip!

Then they made their decision two take 10 seeds each and smash back a few more beers because they felt intense. They waited about 20 minutes. They could start teleporting all over his uncles house and the big garden. They even said that flew up to the roof of the house. Then they fooled around on the roof. Then they flew back down onto of the front house. Which really meant that they both jumped off the roof together and broke their fucking legs. Me and a friend were going to take some when we were 17. The farm I worked on had me pick it so the animals wouldn’t eat it. After learning that this weed that grew everywhere would make humans and animals hallucinate I thought, this is great, way easier than finding mushrooms. Later that evening we rode around looking for some and luckily were unable to find any. After our failed attempt we did some research and realized it would likely not have provided us the experience we had hoped to have. I am still very thankful.

He eventually came to and went home but it permanently changed him. He has since passed away. He was a good guy but seemed troubled by this experience. RIP Wes. I was at a hippie gathering in the woods of the Cumberland Gap in KY. There were these people of the local native tribe camped next to me. We became friends, and they asked if I wanted to partake in a traditional Datura ceremony. I had never heard of it before, but I felt like they seemed experienced and safe about doing it. They brewed it into a tea, and the whole group drank it together. The first thing I noticed was that the coals in the fire turned into a town that I could only describe as looking like Halloween or some vampire movie. Someone was telling old stories about life in tribal times, and the whole thing seemed to come alive in the coals as the story was told. It was like I was watching a movie in the fire! I've never seen anything so beautiful and real before that night. I remember someone helping me back to my tent. The strangest thing was that I lost my 3d vision, and everything looked flat. I couldn't open my tent because I couldn't touch the zipper. I got in my tent and then had over 24 hours of experiences that were in between bliss and a nightmare. I had out of body experiences where I walked around the camp and interacted with people. I saw many of these human forms with crow heads that would guide me through the scary parts. I was so relieved when it was over and will never repeat the experience again, that's for sure!

Datura is literally the most toxic plant in human existence and people just go in with zero respect - and the plant punishes them deeply for it. Each Datura plant varies in potency based on species age climate and location. Every part is toxic, even the air around it because it releases a gas. Most of these deliriant compounds are anticholinergics, this means that they inhibit the neurotransmitter acetylcholine at the synapse. Acetylcholine regulates cardiac contractions, meaning if you take something that blocks acetylcholine receptors in significant enough amounts, it will literally stop your heart from beating. Acetylcholine also regulates a whole host of bodily and neurological functions, messing with that intricate system by taking something like Datura, benadryl, etc. is like playing dice with death and will likely produce permanent damage. Don't take something like this because you're curious, bored, or in need of a way to escape your pain. It's not worth permanently fucking yourself up, seriously

To this day I have schizoaffective disorder from datura. Datura inoxia was growing all over campus at the university I attended. I was blacked out when I used it, but had the craziest flashbacks to experiences that never happened. I was convinced I was a serial killer when I probably never killed anyone, but in my mind it's impossible to know what was real and what wasn't. I was completely traumatized and scarred from the experience. I've had to live in group homes the past few years because of delusions caused mainly by talking to voices in my head. Don't do Datura unless you want to totally screw up your life

I took 3 handfuls of seeds when I was 17 as well . I remember my throat being very dry about 20 minutes after swallowing them thereafter blacking out... Apparently when my mom got home from work about 3 hours after me ingesting the stuff I was walking around the house naked with my dog in my backpack , smashed glass all around the house... Off to intensive care and having my stomach pumped... 4 days of apparently snakes , flying cars and demons I was discharged from hospital and lost 4 days of my life , What an idiot! 🤦

My tribe the Serrano(Maarenga’yam) utilized Datura(maanich)ceremonially. The ceremony lasted 4 days and young prospective shamans would dance for the 4 days and if they survived the ordeal they would continue their training as shamans. It is no longer an active ritual but the plant is still held in reverence.

Very interesting. @TheHighestOrderHO Could explain more about your tribes spiritual beliefs and how it relates the plant. I reading that your tribes native langauges is same langauges family as Nahuan languages including Classical Nahuatl (Nāhuatlahtōlli) the de facto langauges of the The Aztec Empire or the Triple Alliance (Classical Nahuatl: Ēxcān Tlahtōlōyān . In ancient Mexico, Datura also played an important role in the religion of the Aztecs and the practices of their medicine men and necromancers. It was reportedly used by the Aztecs for ritual sacrifice and malevolent purposes as well.

Yeah, I've taken Datura Stramonium several times. I wouldn't say that it was bad, but the most intense experience definitely felt like a waking nightmare. Well, more just like a mildly unsettling dream, bordering on a nightmare. Also HUGE EMPHASIS on what he said about the strength of different plants. If you're dumb enough to try it, find a plant that grows back every year and only ever harvest from the one plant. Also, again IF you're dumb enough to try it, and I really just suggest that you don't, also emphasis on not taking a ton all at once. Just a tiny bit at a time and wait at least an hour before dosing any more. In my experience, if you make sun tea out of it it hits a bit easier. And, really, I can't emphasize this enough: There are too many safer drugs out there to take. We should all just let Datura be a pretty flower and leave it at that.

I'm a Ethnobotanist trained in the UK, and I have studied solanaceae species and their traditional uses for several years. The information surrounding these plants in terms of recreation is astounding and scary. As with everything, these plants can be used safely and have been for millenia. I would love to chat with you about this sometime if you are interested. There is a lot of bad information, but there is heaps of good. I'm not saying under any circumstances that someone SHOULD indeed take them recreationally, but having scientific knowledge and conveying such Is very worth while.

People say these plants have a strong spirit/presence and some other stoner wiccan words I usually mock but they really do. Such a beautiful plant dude. Adding flowers to tea made me drowsy and dizzy, adding young leaves to weed just gave me worse dry mouth. I took a whole mini bottle (12 pills I think) of dramamine and 12 coricidin cough and cold (dxm) because I wanted to, quote, "get really f*cked up tonight". The plan was to sneak out and meet up at my friend's house the next neighborhood over to hang out, like we did almost every night during the summer. Long story short: took the pills, black out, then wake up in my bed the next day probably around noon. Go to make breakfast and while making it, my mom asks "so what did you take last night?". My heart sank. I reply "huh? what do you mean?". You see, I had no idea that I snuck out of the house cuz I was mostly blacked out and I woke up in my bed so I thought I just took the pills and passed out in my bed. Nope. From what I gather from my friends and what I've been able to piece together from the vague memories that came to me once I was told I snuck out of the house, I was actually quite active that night. I was like an hour or so late to my friend's house, and the whole time I was walking there, I was having a full conversation and hallucination with a different friend that wasn't even there. I remember hiding in the brush along the side of the road to avoid being caught (at least I had SOME sense to do that much) by cars passing. My friends told me that I kept talking about hallucinations that I was seeing, like a baby in the corner of the room, they told me I said that a lot. I had severe cotton mouth and was trying to drink water from a walkie talkie thinking it was a water bottle. When it came time for us to head home, my one friend told my other friend, yea, we can't let Soul walk home in this condition, you gotta drive him (friend didn't have a license or vehicle). He 'borrowed' his dad's truck to drive me home and instructed me to sneak back into the house, but apparently I did not heed this advice and tried getting in the front door, which roused my dad from sleep and let me in and knew, of course, that I was out of my mind on drugs. Asked me what I was on, and in my drug stupor lied and said something like "oh I was just drinking a little", but my dad is no idiot, he knew it was something else. That's the last thing I was told that happened and he sent me to bed, I guess. Fast forward to waking up in my bed, making breakfast, and mom asking just what the hell happened the night before. Mind you, I had no idea I even snuck out, so it was quite the shock. I was grounded for 2 or 3 months IIRC. This was over 2 decades ago, but let me tell you, that was the LAST time I ever took a deliriant, and one of the last times I took DXM. The dramamine scared the ever-living out of me. There's a reason why it's a drug that's not commonly used, let alone abused........

weird, but I too hid in the bushes or right up against peoples houses in the dark night as cars passed.. trying to find my way home from this art class annual party, where I had dropped 2 hits of double barrel, because I did one hit the night b4, which was a friday, that trip was fine, manageable, and fun, the saturday me and dave decided to drop again , and believing the story that you need to do double the amount if you do it within the next 24 hrs, we did. I was overwhelmed and seriously freaking out. peoples faces were literally dripping like wet paint , along with parts of their eyeballs all dripping down from them as they smiled and shook my hand, I could only look at them for like 2 seconds, at which point I got the hell out of this multi-storied old mansion where the party was, it was SO CROWDED that you had to squeeze in single file down the flights of stairs.. there were 3 stories in that house.. and the walk home should have taken 15 minutes tops, maybe 20.. it took me I think at least 2 hours as I was lost and scared paranoid hiding from ALL living things and moving cars.. I remember that I managed to put the 1st Doors album on in the total darkness of my room and listen with headphones and it calmed me and brought me way down from panic.. what a night

Moonflowers. Phew. I was that moron who ate a moonflower, receptacle, sepal, petals, the whole thing, just 'cause it was there and I was seventeen and stupid. Then I went outside with some mates, smoked a joint, didn't feel any different, repeat, was a stupid jerk - I got the munchies and ate another two moonflowers. The memories I do have between my lying down on my buddy's bed after polishing off those highly toxic flowers, (that slightly more intelligent people than I would only dare consume in the form of a tea brewed with the flowers,) and waking up on that same bed again are few, surreal and oddly "Star Wars" themed. This was in 1997. I remember watching the scene in "Episode IV" where Leia staches something in R2 (while in reality, I perfectly tuned in the snow on the TV and everyone else just let me be.) I remember chatting with C3PO and R2D2 behind my friend's parents' living room bar. I remember going for a drive through town with some sentient things (when in reality, I had been sitting in the garden alone sitting as if I were holding and playing a guitar, had leapt up, yelled out, "Wait for me!" then jumped into the car alone, slammed the door behind me and sat in there chatting away to an empty front seat while looking about at if sightseeing.) Those are my memories. The havoc I wreaked over the course of the two days I spent under the influence of Datura was extensive and horrendous. It's really crazy how unconscious of the reality about me I was while the poison was working its way through my system. Even crazier is how immediate my recovery seemed. It was literally as if I took a nap, woke up, and within an hour of waking up I was heading off the a nightclub with five friends who'd been corralling me around and trying to limit the damage I did to myself and my surroundings around the clock for over 48 hours. I did flood my mate's parents' house during that time... twice. Had I been conscious at all, it probably would have been the most profound experience of my life, but the fact is I have no memory of the experience but for those little "Star Wars"-related fragments and literally a moment of questioning the nature and identity of a being I was driving around town with. Friends of mine each ate a handful of what we South Africans call "malpitte" (crazy seeds) which are the seeds from which Jimsonweed grows. The act put all of them into respective comas and all had to be taken to hospital by ambulance and had their stomachs pumped. The reality is I could have died. I could have caused harm or worse for others. Given the devastation I left in my wake while under the compound's influence, all these years later I actually still feel incredibly guilty. I feel as if I should have had a terrible personal experience that left scars for me to remember it all by. And through it all, I ought to be glad I lived through it. I have had a damned profound experience, but instead of it being an experience of any kind of "trip", it's an awareness that I allowed my body to be possessed by that plant in a way, and for two days. It was reckless and incredibly stupid and truly shameful. So there you go - for anybody open to the idea of trying Datura who might just read this. What can be the point of imbibing a substance to alter consciousness if one is rendered simultaneously altogether unaware of oneself? That all being said, nothing I did with it was considered, informed or responsible. I guess that'd be the caveat to my recommendation to avoid the stuff like it's a highly contagious strain of Kriptonian Flu.

Well this is not what I expected coming here. I took Datura 3 separate times my Freshman year in college when I was 17. It was awesome. Idk why other people were instructed to take so much, but I took 5 seeds the first time at the instruction of my friend who had them. The trip was excellent. I had taken ecstasy before by that time so when my friend, who was really into various plants with mind altering affects, told me about it, I was down. The first trip was my strongest, he told me to use a key to scrape the seed coat off and then to chew the seeds. I didn’t do much on the seeds as I tripped in my room but I remember just kind of watching things on my computer and listening to music but I felt awesome, I was euphoric and I wanted to dance. I had a period early in the trip where I talked to my friends in the dorm hall and played 2k a little bit but then separated from them and went back to my dorm room. I did hallucinate one thing where I was sitting in the floor and saw a shark jump out of the floor like it was but in the moment I wasn’t afraid because I knew it was fake and I was on a drug. The entire time I was aware of where I was. However, the funniest moment to me was I was so high that at one point after talking to a friend of mine down the hall to figure out if there was a party going on that night, I had so much energy and wanted to dance I ended up sitting on the floor and imitating rowing like I was in a boat, and I used my legs to pull myself forward while doing the arm motions and moving my upper torso forward and backward. During this time while I was rowing is when I imagined the Shark. Maybe after sitting there for 30seconds to a minute I thought of how dirty the floor probably was and got up. I’ll never forget that moment because I was alone in the hallway and remember thinking, damn I was so bored I wanted to go on an adventure and I had so much energy but couldn’t find anything to do and ended up on the damn floor making up a game with myself about rowing a boat to adventure. I was happy no one saw me because I was certain they wouldn’t have understood what was going on. I did it two more times after that time but took only like 2 or 3 seeds those other times and those times the effects were really just like MDMA for me and In each time I went to a party with a girl I was getting to know at the time and we ended up having extremely intense great (at least on my side of the experience, idk if they had as great a time as I did but I assumed they did because they kept wanting to sleep with me after those nights) sex where I had multiple orgasms each time. I keep comparing it to MDMA because I got euphoria, high energy and a desire to dance, and I believe I got vasodilation because my erections during each trip were stiff as a rock and long lasting like I had taken Viagra. To this day I never had nightmarish trips or any negative reviews about datura seeds. I’ve been to therapy after very influential family members died and never showed signs of psychosis and have never been recommended for psychotic evaluation. I don’t lash out on people and tend to be a mediator in situations because I personally just feel most situations aren’t such a big deal to where a person needs to resort to violence. These days I’m sober but I used to smoke a lot of weed, and I’ll have a drink on super specials occasions. Idk why my experience differs so much but I assume it’s because I took a relatively small amount of seeds and had a guide who gave me decent instructions. I could not imagine taking more than 5 idk why anyone would try a heavy dose of something for the first time.

I was also this dumb teenager. I brewed these seeds as a tea and we took about 50 at a time. Jimson "seeds" were introduced to me by my ex bf and his friends. They showed me where the plant grew and how the spikey balls were just pods holding these seeds inside that made you hallucinate. I took a few of these pods home and did about 50 seeds multiple times, usually by myself, and a couple times with a friend. It was not as scary as the stories I've read about... I'm not even 100% sure it was datura. All I know is I did blank out multiple times and I kept smoking invisible cigarettes just to wake up and realize my hand was empty... My friend did in fact see the shadow guy... I actually enjoyed the trips until I heard a bunch of kids from my high school were being hospitalized from these seeds. They were taking over 100 seeds at a time. That was scary enough to make me stop. I don't remember much else besides how big it made everyone's pupils... Come to think of it, I don't remember much of my childhood at all anymore, so it definitely fucks with your memory. To this day my memory sucks. Can't believe I was a part of this craziness.

Here in south Africa they call the datura plant "mal pitte" which translates to crazy seeds because by only taking it you can go crazy for the rest of your life and also "Moonflowers" is something different. you also find it around my area where I live. When I was 16, I took a teaspoon of seeds-watched a hallucination of an old sepia black and white movie on my wall of cowboys and Indians in battle for quite some time, then fell asleep! The jimson seeds made me very, very tired. I woke up to BLIND! Not black blindness, but everything looked like I was underwater. Anything more than 2 inches from my eyes was a blur, and beyond a few feet, just a smear of shade and color. It took 2 -3 days to recover. My friend also took them and said he hallucinated a woman and got her phone number!! Weeks or maybe months later, he said he saw that woman, and she freaked her out when he asked if her phone number was the one he had hallucinated. I always believed he just made that story up... but maybe not. I would ask him now if that was true, but today he is 65 years old and lives seriously off the grid (as in no electricity, no phone, no mail address) as a fugitive (from the U.S.) in the mountains of New Zealand.

Oh man, do I ever have crazy moon flower stories. (that’s what we call it here, I’m in Western Colorado) I remember it had to be my junior year in high school so 1997. A group of my friends showed up to a party with a bunch of moonflower they had picked earlier that day. We had messed around with mushrooms and acid in the past, so I assumed it was going to be kind of the same. Lucky for me I only had a tiny tiny sip of it, I had a gut feeling that some bad shit was going to be down with this stuff. I would say there were 20 of us at the house party and half of them down a cup of this moonflower tea. The night ran its course everyone’s tripping balls. I am not going home around midnight or one, and going straight to bed I really didn’t feel a thing. I wake up in the morning and all hell had broken loose! One of my friends was discovered by his parents, but naked in the kitchen sink with the water is still on and gushing down the side of the sink on the floor! A couple of my other friends got picked up by the cops they’re just wandering around aimlessly had no idea who or what they were. Then, unfortunately, there is bad news, even much much worse, two of them had wandered off and apparently walked right into a canal that we have out here for irrigation water. They just walked right in and drowned. For some reason you’re attracted to water on the stuff but you aren’t able to swim really fucked up. It was some crazy shit it was all over the news, of course everyone’s parents found out. The stuff a literally grows in almost everyone’s front yard so it’s not like it’s hard to come bye. I remember the weirdest side effect that I had was I couldn’t read when I woke up in the morning. I remember getting up having a coffee. I felt fine. I picked up the newspaper and was reading it except I couldn’t. I don’t know how to describe it. I could look at it it wasn’t blurry. I just couldn’t comprehend the words on the paper. Anyhow stay the hell away from the shit. By far one of the worst outcome I’ve come .

@Ned the Staffie Egan yeah I'll agree it was a bit disturbing .. probably wasn't protected properly even though our Shaman was 79 years old.. I'm guessing quantity of time in the game doesn't exactly equate to quality of performance.. As far as the gf, she came in w loads of psychological baggage from the beginning, so I can't really pinpoint whether or not she was negatively affected by this or not.. for her visions , she thought she could see me trying to hand her pint glasses of Aya and water which was really just my hand reaching out to her to comfort me in my own torment .. and she also had this vision of Aliens creating what felt like the Earth, long ago adding all the ingredients for life then it being an ice ball for a long time, while the aliens left for it to kind of unravel and grow over time while they went off to do other things.. Once the beginning open eye visions happened I closed my eyes and went into a dream state of visions that showed me all the different money scams that urban society was involved in including hook up/and drugged drunk culture. Then I found myself in a car w 3 cold blooded killers, driving around a large city at night, searching for their next victim that they could jack and kill if they could just get a gold chains worth of money out of it.. I could see the bullets in their guns and I could feel their predatory vibration to the fullest.. they had zero remorse for the lives they'd take..

Other English common names include moonflower, devil's weed, and hell's bells. The flowers are roughly pentagonal

Ended up having to turn on the light because I was getting nauseated from the confusion. I'm pretty sure the chocolate somehow makes the shrooms stronger, because I only took what was supposed to be 1.5g, but it felt more like 4g. I bet so many people have bought that at that store thinking it would be a mild trip and have a literal ego death lol. There should honestly be some sort of warning on the package because I am extremely experienced with psychedelics and it was almost too much for me.

This stuff is terrifying, I have just Recently started experiencing psychedelics mainly just doing shrooms around 10 times and acid twice, and while I would like to try others, mainly 2CB and mescaline, stuff like this shows how scary drugs can be, and this is way more dangerous than the life ruining drugs like heroin, cocaine or meth. While I have a morbid curiosity in this substance at the moment, I would never try it for the same reason I wouldn’t try the 3 drugs above, because too much is at steak.

Hey Adam! I decided to explore the side of KZbin I used to be on all the time, and came across this video. Been a while! Before I made all my psychedelic videos private, the video I made about my datura experience had been gaining a lot of views. There seems to be a lot of interest in it these days, so much so that I had people messaging me asking to make the video public again. A lot of them seemed to be quite young, late teens/early 20s. I can attest to the wild hallucinations and how very dangerous this substance is. I was lucky to have tried it in a ceremonial setting with trusted guides who knew the plant well. I had hallucinations of strangers who looked no different than a real person standing in front of me. I had conversations with them, and they each had their own unique personality, voice, etc. I saw some very weird things too, but the thought of them being hallucinations never crossed my mind. I had no idea I was on a drug. I thought everything I was seeing and experiencing were genuine parts of reality. I'm grateful for the experience, but I would never do it again, and I will never recommend it to anybody. It is just not worth it.

As someone with bpd, ptsd, bipolar and a anxiety disorder, I feel like no matter what I do I WOULD have a bad trip, any hallucination I would have would be bad memories I think it would officially make me loose my mind. But I do really badly want to try something to just feel something, but datura is definitely to far

Here in southeast, criminals use it for robbing people. This plant is very common and extremely hard to eradicate. You cut down the plant or uproot it, and a month later, you will see the plant in the same place. When I was a child, me and my friends were constantly warned not to play with that plant (we used to draw stuff with leaves and flowers on concrete). But it is very intriguing to know people also try this plant for recreational purposes. Well, i learned something new, so thanks for this video.

My last shrooms trip was heroic Because I thought I permanently damaged my Consciousness....Whenever I would type...the letters would fall off the screen, like hyper realistic Tetris pieces falling....experienced my first thought loop.....legit I thought I broke my Consciousness permanently....all I can say is.....I've never done datura but I'll tell you my shroom trip replicated the feeling of permanent brain damage......I was so happy when it was over

ayooob😂 when i ate pounds of shrooms and sheets of cid i swear there was days where the buttons would swirl out of the phone and then mix up in a weird order and then swirl back together, my friends would be like "why you typing for so long" 😂😂😂

Back around 2006/2007 I was introduced to datura. I had no idea what I was going to experience. My buddy handed me a handful of very dark red seeds and told me to just continuously chew on them. I forgot to spit them out so by the time I spit them out I had vigorously chewed on a cheek full of datura seeds for several hours😱 my body felt like there were pins and needles all over not painful but just the initial prick almost feeling like electricity. I remember feeling like I was watching what I was doing from somewhere above my head almost like an out-of-body experience! It felt like every single nerve ending leading to my skin was on high alert and allowing me to feel the slightest of things!! I didn't know that datura could make someone hallucinate actual people that aren't really there until this video; therefore it makes me wonder if some of the things I saw or people I talked to were actually there. The last thing that I remember is knowing that I was in control of everything but it didn't feel like I was in my own skin!!! Im looking forward to reading the comments describing others experiences and watching the rest of the video!! Be safe out there all!!

Heard people even think they are smoking a cigarette with no cigarette or drinking a drink with no drink. Sounds too crazy and dangerous. You’re lucky you didn’t od as it’s very lethal if you get just a bit too much in your system.

@@larrytate1657 yes definitely!! Prob wouldve died if i had swallowed them. Thankfully after chewing on them for however many hrs..i spit them out!!! I was a heroin addict and OD'd having been brought back a few times with Narcan. The pins and needles feeling that you get when you emerge from Near Death with the Narcan is a similar feeling of the come up from datura😬😬😬 It's one of the weirdest, unnatural and hard to describe feeling in the world! I absolutely loathe that feeling!!!!

scariest thing i had happen to me was once in high school me and my friends were huffing a substance and one teens there was doing it way more than the rest of us...he ended up dying in front of us and his eyes actually popped out of his sockets still attached to the nerve or whatever... i cant even remember what we were huffing but that teen had a condition and when he huffed he just kept going even after we all were done with it... scariest thing i ever seen... one of his eyes was completely out just hanging on his cheek the other eye was only halfway out of his socket... i still have nightmares about it, any time i have tried a new substance it's the first thing that comes to my mind.. i am surprised the thought of it has not caused me to have a bad trip but i guess i am lucky....all of us had to go to court which was scary too but the judge decided since we all did it on our own will and wasn't bullied or peer pressured into doing it that what we saw was punishment enough and his parents agreed with the judge ....rest in peace justin bro i still think about you
