Hell they even pay for your flight to and from wherever you're flying from. So no, she just wants her money back and this is honestly one of the best ways if not THE best way to do it.

The daughter said she was supposed to meet up with the people who deposited the checks and they would give her half. There's no way she couldn't know something wasn't right unless she was too stupid to get into the college she attends. A couple of college students don't give you over 2 thousand dollars to process a couple of checks for them. Either she thought she was taking advantage of them, or she knew the checks were bad.

This young lady seems very nice, polite, and studious. However, she is very naive and sheltered. Her so called "friends" knew it and only used her! I think she probably did have feelings for him to go along with this without thinking. I think she was scammed because she appears to be well brought up but like you say naive. I see lots of people in other comments saying she must have known, but adults get scammed out of money every day online in scams a kid would recognise. It's the difference between the online world and the real world and it seems the defendant doesn't have much real world experience.
