Wow didn't know about malabrigo and blue sky. They both make fabulous yarn. I didn't know about aberdeen in time to check out their advent. Will be so fun to watch you open it. I ordered some things from them on 11/23 still waiting for it to ship. I did get an advent box from twice sheared sheep. It has been very fun so far. Look forward to seeing how your daughter's hat turns out. How goes the socks?

Beige but fluffy and high quality and a beautiful stitch, should be a very nice hat. That is funny that your daughter wants plain. My mom always wanted plain stuff, boring colors, and we kids like a lot of color. Lol.

That’s why when I saw the fluffy I knew it needed to be added to whatever yarn I got for her. She’s coming over later today, I’ll have her look at and touch the yarn before I wind it up. Just to make sure she likes it. It will be pretty stunning

Love your hair today. So fun. The Advent Calendar looks fun. I can't wait to see how that goes. I am making progress on my projects but it was so cold last night my hands were too cold to knit or crochet. That's not a normal thing for me, Im usually always hot even in cold times of year, but as I've gotten older, coldness happens. Lol. Got a new space heater this morning and it's working well so i can get back to my projects. Still a lot to get done before Christmas! But Im not going to push to hard. Just lower my expectations for myself a little. 😂

The Advent was an out on the limb purchase. They are a big investment for a mystery. I’ve watched so many fun ones last year and others that were very nice but not my taste. We shall see, I took a chance. Packing in this is excellent, a real treat for the eyes. Congratulations on your progress, remember, one stitch counts so give your hands a break when they need it.

Thank you for the Blue Sky/Malabrigo information. I didn’t know that. Your daughter’s yarn choice is beautiful! I have a friend whose color pallet is always beige, soft white-her whole house and wardrobe. Then she comes to my house where it looks like something exploded 😂🤣. It’s all gorgeous!

I’m excited about this too. I’ll be seeing the colors in a daily basis also. I think I’ll look at the knit shawl pattern they designed for it, at least read the directions. If packaging is any indication, I’m going to love this box. It’s a real gift to look at. The excitement is already building

I haven’t read the instructions on the pattern yet but had a feeling I’d need that 25 Day to start with. My guess it it’s one one that ties them all together or at least makes it look like a complete piece not a bunch of random colors. After looking through the directions I might decide to open it if and only IF I think I can start working on it as an advent during the month.

I love the cream! My Aberdeen order still hasn’t come. I got a mystery bag so it should be fun . Dang the mail strike! The real big order I did was my hubby being an enabler lol We hit the Ice yarn website and wound up with 50+ hanks/skeins of cashmere, angora,mohair and silk combos. Even with their actual shipping prices it still worked out to less than $7 a hank so I’m excited to see how it goes 😊 I am more of a stock up and work from the stash type of person rather than buying just for one project each time. I think I have five projects going right now 😂 Have a great day❤

The cream is a nice undyed natural yarn in luxury fibers so it shouldn’t be bad to work with. I had to add the lovely halo yarn to spruce it up and make it all the more special. Hopefully your box will get here today. My UPS statement first said 27th then shifted to 29th. The mail strike has affected all the Canadian stores, left them scrambling for sure. Do you have a shipping notice so you can track your box?
