I felt this in my bones. Within the past few days I was already on the brink of making a permanent ending and within 12 hours found out my brother had passed away at 27. At that moment and after 14 years of trying to deal with cptsd on my own...I went to the hospital to get help. I was starting to question if I even did the best thing...but this song...thanks for the confirmation. I think you have a sixth sense or something. Thanks for this song guys.

I'm sorry you have had to go through so much pain but I'm glad you were able to turn it into something beautiful that will help millions of people for years to come. Your lyrics remind me of your first album where I connected in a way words can't describe and I feel like that with this album. Well done Daughtry, this is a great album and you should be extremely proud of your hard work.

As I have always said, Chris is THE most underrated singer in the world. If their video clips were full of smut, drugs and whatever else these so called musicians come out with today he/they would probably be more famous. Stay the way you are guys. Amazing songs. Amazing talent.

This is the way we like. The integrity of the art that is music is under attack, and we need people like Chris Daughtry to combat it. The feelings of levitation and mixed emotions is what we need to feel. It’s good for us.

The entire album is freaking amazing. I'd pre-ordered it and have been listening to it basically non-stop for the past few days. Daughtry took a big leap of faith by dropping their big record label so I hope everyone supports them by buying. The lyrics this time around are extra incredible, and Chris's voice just keeps getting better and better. On a personal note, this song also resonated with me & helped make me decide to speak up on some things I'd been tolerating for too long. Huge weight off my chest.

This song has pretty much been my anthem lately. I recently lost my mother. She was my rock, my best friend, and I also lost my husband, my knight in shining Kevlar on our anniversary. It has been a long, rough journey, especially having my special needs daughter, developmentally disabled brother and dad to watch out for, but (sometimes I don't know how) I'm still standing on my own two feet! *Blessings*

I heard one song called I'm going home years ago. I'm a connoisseur of almost any genre of music. Wasn't into head bang music or definitely satanic. When I was young and so naive because I didn't know God. I was brought up my dad was atheist we lived in a a very small county country town. So after I left home and ventued off so unprotected because had no idea of what the armor of God meant , much less how to get it. After years to many I picked up from people the Lord put in place to guide me (tons of other's in between) but somehow he slowly revealed little things at first. Cuz I'm that rebellious child 🙏🙄🙄 and hadn't gotten any whipping yet 🥺😬🙄🙏 well he showed up and I got a harsh lickin 😭 I had to lose my life to show me how much needed him 🙏. One day someone I knew was listening to Held by Natalie Grant and I had never knew about Christian music but that's the day I wanted more of this. It was so beautiful and humbling to my soul 🙏 so over the next 1o 13 years I fell in love with Jesus. I didn't forget that song, but didn't know he was Christian. This is a powerful song. I'm going to listen to more in a few minutes. But I filter what I listen to now. ( Can't believe even though it states it boldly) (highway to hell 👿) I didn't ever really like it) but when in Rome carefree and bullet proof 🙄🙏😬) he was protecting me then even though I didn't know. I KNEW BECAUSE I'M ONE OF HIS FLOCK 🙏🙏💕💪🕊️💯🛡️🗡️⚔️📜. And he wouldn't let me go. Sorry if I went on and on. But I'm so grateful for the grace and patience he allowed me 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏✌️💐🕊️. Seek the Lord and you will find him. Mustard seed 🙏✌️

All of us cry for God’s help everyday. He showed up for you and he will for everyone if you listen hard enough. We are soldiers to protect his kingdom that is earth. We are met with enemies everyday that damage us and sometimes we succumb to them, but that’s when we cry for help and show him how much we care even though we keep screwing up. Our relationship grows stronger and so does our armor, at some point, we are strong enough to rest in God. It’s a long road, but I’m on it too. We will all get there if we work hard enough. Thanks for sharing your story. 💪❤️⚔️

Chris is my MOST FAVORITE singer of all times.. no matter what genre! I would travel a long ways to see him live.. and I'm going to this summer. This song touched my soul.. I hope Chris reads this... I lost my son in 2009, and I wish SO MUCH he could have heard this song back then, when he needed to cry for help, but didn't. He tried to handle things on his own and it ended with him taking his own life. I cried when I heard this song... I hope anyone hearing it now will seek help if they are at their lowest of lows and thinking about ending it all. There IS light in their darkness, as THEY are light but just don't see it. Thank you Chris and band for your beautiful heartfelt music and songs.. and Chris.. your voice is magnificent.. I can listen for hours! I hope, although it sounds like you are going in a direction of harder rock music, that you keep some of your soft, emotional songs as those speak from your soul.
