Varsho is a fantastic outfielder, but he'll never, ever hit even his weight in batting average.

He can’t hit. Hitting is more important. .214 and 58 RBI is pitiful

Debatable. Defense wins. RBI isn't a good stat, nor is batting average. Funny you conveniently left out his slugging numbers, which with his OBP result in a decent .700 OPS. An OPS+ of 98, which is about average. But when he's the best fielding outfielder, he can get away with being an average hitter. He has shown to hit for power, which he did more of this year and a couple years ago in Arizona. I mean he's a 5.0 WAR season player, you can't complain much about that. Every team would love to have a 5.0 WAR player in their lineup.
