You mentioned about the guy on the ground telling you how and where to start the spreading. Reminds me of a story a guy told me that drove a Ready-Mix truck. He had a front discharge mixer and was just starting out working a job where the contractors crew felt the need to yell and rag on the new guy, telling him he didn’t pour right, wasn’t putting it in the right place, etc. So one of the new drivers co-workers told him when this one guy in particular started in on him, just swing the chute around and shoot a little mud into the guys boots and he would change his attitude. He did, and it worked!

2 things about your truck. Like mine I hear the housing around your gear selector rattling at idle. My fix for that because it gets irritating sometimes is I put gasket sheeting underneath it to take up the space stop the rattle in mine. second thing you brought up several times about the PTO kicking out if you go over 1400 RPM, mine has a governor on the engine that stops it from going over 1400 RPM when the PTO is engaged.
