Today I watched you simply because your voice is pleasant, not because I crave your knowledge. The fact that I've chopped this fella down over 50 times and still have néver seen these 3 (1:47 , the slam, rockslide and pendulum spin), emphasizes how undertuned Agarus is. The amps are too strong, the behemoth is too weak. It often dies within 2 minutes. Keep being awesome Narujen

XD Well, thank you, Fré. :3 And I agree completely. I have to let Agarus heal for Pete's sake so I can break two parts before it dies. For a behemoth so big it's health feels as low as Thrax's was when Umbral escalation first came out. I'll do my best! ❤️ You do the same, Fré!

@@Narujen Only saw the notification now ahah. Yeah i did, especially for terra esca 10-50. I'm still sad that Agarus is dropping only one vine arm loot. So i'm pretty sure i'm gonna spend a loooot of time farming him. + Your video helped me try the escalation in solo. Went so well, that i'm going there alone for some missions. So thank you a lot! Gah, and I'm even later in replying! XD I'm sorry. Yes, Agarus does require quite a bit of farming. Same with Chronovore and most recently, Phaelanx. I'm happy to hear that! :D It's a satisfying feeling to be able to take on escalations solo. 💪 You're very welcome, and thank you! You as well! :D

@@Narujen I just checked what i still need. And the thing is, Malky and Agarus are kind of easiest esca we have. So i understand the grind part. But damn, the roots needed for weapons ahah x') Thrax is my nightmare but i began to see the patern. Torga.. well.. the angry monkey is on fire and trully shit on me xd BUT since it's fire esca, those behemoths are hitting hard, and if i don't have 1 or 2 rez left for Torga, i'm pretty i lose the esca xD Frost esca is just the frost building issue. You kinda need 4 players to avoid getting iced. But in public ppl have no clue and.. welp sometimes don't even take the avatar lol. Still love the look of icy wolf buuuut.. it's annoying solo when u got annoying duo behemoths, and i'm scared to recruit atm cuz i know my builds are not that decent ahah :D And i'll stay the hell out of heroic esca for now. :

@@MyaMore-cb7zb I remember when Malk first came out. My friends and I didn't have that easy of a time and lost a few times. XD Now I personally find all the escalations easy and can do them solo, but that's just because I've done each one so many times, so I know all the behemoths attack patterns. If you still need help with Thrax I do have a guide on him. He becomes as harmless as a bookworm once you know his attack patterns. xP Torga was a terror when he first released. I remember the first time seeing him grab one of my friends and slam him into the ground like Hulk did to Loki. We were all laughing. XD You can technically cheese Torga if you've unlocked all the amps for him. If you get the no stamina amp and the stagger damage one while also having chainblades with high stamina recovery you can ride Torga indefinitely. As long as you can avoid his dismount moves. I did it for a video and it was fun. Oh, yeah. The frost building is annoying. I find the axe with the stagger amp or the chainblades with crit amp are the best at keeping the frost down. If you need any ideas for builds you're welcome to take a look at mine! Ohhh yeah. I've only been able to do Malkarion for the heroic escalation. Frost and terra, no thank you. I'd like to try umbral and blaze though.

Just to let u know use transfusoin fire to deal deamage when he in healing mode n use ice to slow it down and use iceboren and rage hunter and u can use any type of axe for maximum defencce/attack i also recommend a tank tonxic to help out MAKE sure both ragehunter and iceborn are at 6 or 5 it will help alot

np also make sure to use a combo tonic to increase the max output of damage like frenzy tonic and blizt tonic also equip nine live it help so much it saved me more times then i could count(it half the damage n when ur low on hp say 300 u lose half of it so ur hp is at 150 it is broken so use it if u can u can live it at a 3 trust me it gud)

A fun behemoth to fight especially when you ride him but is very annoying to get the parts and very rarely ever drops the parts

It drops the parts but they clip and don't auto pick up

That's really odd you're not getting any orbs on the ground. Are you on console or PC, J?

Narujen I am on console and tried different ways to get the drops and nothing. (Different ways as in different weapons and ways to attack like not using special and only light attacks to attacking the part I need when it’s at different health level as in 50% health or 75% health.) also great video by the way

@@jsrfuture5137 I was about to say it could be a console problem, but I just faught Agarus and despite breaking both of its arms I didn't get either part ,and I saw the orbs fall. It's either a glitch or PHX has lowered the rate of part drops for Agarus, and I hope that's not the case.

The sword makes this boss a joke with cyclone and ice born it takes me like 1 minute and 30 seconds to kill him

Agarus looks and acts like a boss, but it doesn't feel like one, which is a shame. It's health feels like Thrax's during the time Umbral escalation was new when it should have as much health as Torgadoro, or more. Side note: Have you done any public hunts as of late? Because a couple times there was a slayer on a couple of my hunts who used the cyclone ability and they were shredding through the behemoths. XD

Well, to fight Agarus you need to reach Escalation level 40 in the 10-50 Terra Escalation since he's the boss at the end.

I did that with the axe and repeaters and I was actually having fun having to be scared of behemoths again. XD It made being good at dodging feel a lot more rewarding.

Around how many tries dos it take to get him?

To reach him? Or to beat him? Though either way it honestly depends on you. Like your armor/weapon level, how good you are at dodging his attacks, etc. For me, my friends and I were able to reach him on our first try and beat him. Barely. 😆

For sure it's possible! I personally use the Twin Suns, but I've seen other slayers use regular repeaters.

How do i get ironroot shard i been slay agarus so many times and i cant even get it

Unfortunately the epic and rare drops are based on RNG, so you could fight him 20 times and not get it, but then get one every fight several times. I personally find breaking as many parts on a behemoth as possible helps to increase the rate of the drops, but I don't know if that actually works.

@@user-ov8wh6yg6c Nah, he doesn't need to be enraged or aether charged. That doesn't make a difference. I'd suggest just going for breaking as many parts as possible before slaying him.

Ah, yes. This was back before the reforge system came out. 😌 It was much easier to make these guides. Didn't have to worry about reforming a weapon and then either not being able to use it in a video or having to grind it to lvl 20 before I would record a video. I can't wait for the XP banking to come out.

I have fought agarus like 20 times but i havent gotten 1 ironroot shard. Whats the drop rate of ironroot shard?

When it comes to epic drops it's very RNG based. There's been times where I've gotten an epic drop 3-4 times in a row and then others where I go several fights without getting any drops.
