Summary Barrel: 2:08 (Pick whichever to counter the element of the boss you want to fight) Chamber: 2:45 (Best is Full Bore Chambers for most behemoths. Best way to use it is to position yourself at the head and fire it down through their body. Otherwise if you find yourself struggling with this, Salvo Chamber is also a good alternative. If you are using Salvo, make sure you hit an unbroken part with the blast. Marksman Chamber is also an effective chamber in breaking parts, especially in a team environment, but it is the hardest out of the 3 to utilize. ) Grip: 5:25 (Captain's Grip if you are the only Repeater player in the team or the other Repeater players don't have) Mods: 6:51 (Best is Lucky Magazine) Prism: 9:38 (Best is Searing Prism) Cells: 12:07 Technique: Suggested Cells are Predator, Evasive Fury, and Molten; Cunning, Wild Frenzy, and Adrenaline are also good alternatives that work just fine. Mobility: Swift, Fleet Footed, and Agility (in this order) Power: Overpower (Just keep in mind that Repeaters cannot stagger, so you have to rely on breaking parts or interrupting behemoths) and Ragehunter. However, if you are fighting Riftstalker or Shrowd, swap out Ragehunter with Aetherhunter Utility: Aetheric Attunement and Conduit. He recommends that Attack Speed is your friend on Repeaters. Just makes combat with Repeaters a lot better. He recommends at least having two attack speed modifiers from all of your cells. Also you must position yourself close to the Behemoths to take full advantage of Empowered Reload.

Little tip for everyone new to repeaters: Try to use your lantern(hold) before you use the Full Bore Chamber. Every part hit by the projectile fills your lantern, thus filling the lantern almost instantly. You can see that in the video several times, as OhDough lands some really nice shots there.

I will say that I consistently keep a 200-300 shield up with the Stoneheart prism, and this is with it only giving 30 hp shields due to not having it upgraded all the way.

It'd be cool if they add a bow gun or something similar like in monster hunter were you can change the bullets, and stock up on bullets pre battle. It could be way simplifed such as only 4 types of bullets able to bring in. *Normal (most damage and medium range) *Regen(shoot to heal team mates) *Shield (shoot to buff def of team mates) *Damage(same as shield but boosts damage of team mates) *Spread (super effective up close) *Elemental (simplified to deals the elemental the behemoth is weak to) *poison (saps hp over time)

It's probably worth mentioning to new players repeaters are easy to get high weapon power, I couldn't get parts to upgrade my melee cause I couldn't fight scorchstone hellion, but an upgraded repeater gave me 340 easy. Good for getting past that threshold

Awesome breakdown! Yeah, I don’t like the auto reload. Either make it so it can be disabled OR make it so dodge interrupts the reload at least. It would be better still to disable to ensure you get that empowered instead of a random reload but it hurts me more with my awful timing. I end up starting to reload when I really need to dodge. When all those buffs are popped it’s hard to track 12 rounds lol!

you gotta realise that he is using SUPER end-game gear all maxed out, you wont see numbers like his until you have at least +10 armour/weapons and +3 cells... just keep playing/grinding and you will get there eventually.

@@TheDwarfishjoe He might be using "SUPER end-game gear" but even then you want to know the equipment he's using so you know what you'll want to farm and what to build to get that amount of dmg, also, please, the game doesn't takes that much for you to reach "end-game" I'm barely around 20-40 hours in the game and I'm already at the radiant and umbral behemoths...

I'd also like to add that if you take Weighted Strikes (+6) with Salvo Chamber you can boop, it's much easier to use as a boop than Explosive Mine from Saboteur's Grip.

I've been noticing a sudden spike in Repeater users lately, some good, some bad. I've been trying to help some out by telling them they have to be in range to do any damage, because lately a lot of Repeater players tend to hang out in the far left field doing diddly squat for damage. @ohdough Have u tried using capacitive magazine with snowdrift prism I have found myself it being really strong especially with solo basicly I use it by using the empowered chamber to load 4 at 0 bullets then the buff when im at 0 bullets again (empowered ends sometimes but solo u dont need empowered buff) so idea is using the last 4 bullets of the clip several times for the sprites

Embermane you can just roll to the side when he charges at you and focus then for dps. If trying to interrup, embermanes charge is very telegraphed so you can use concussion grenades or sabateurs grip. After dodging his first attack use i empower behind it and place the mine in front of you on his second charge and shoot when he passes over for an easy boop. As for nayzaga it's just a matter of positioning yourself behind it's body to avoid the lightning strikes and getting used to dodge timing for it's attacks. Hope I helped and keep hunting :)

I don't think evasion is a particularly good cell and on repeaters I'd go with gnasher feet over kharabak. it's a good builds to work towards though ^.^

Not enough credit is ever given to the Eclipse Prism. It gives you a whopping 25% damage boost if you maintain all five of the orbs, which is easily done if there's no breaks in your firing and while maybe your chamber shot won't generate them, it absolutely feeds off the damage bonus. So if you're using Lucky mag, Cunning and ramping up your orbs with huge speed increases, firing off a chamber shot down the behemoth will see some monster criticals. Want a cherry on top? Pop Drask's Eye just before the chamber shot. Also not to mention that every single shot you're firing with the orb bonus is getting increased numbers. It all adds up.

I'm branching out because I'm max mastery with repeaters and I need to start leveling up more, but that doesn't mean I like it. Kill times are always way slower. Using repeaters with the right, perfected build and setup and just keeping the speed boost flow gives you some amazing kill times and not only that, but despite being mostly a close range weapon, that doesn't keep you from moving to mid range and just having a bird's eye view of the situation. Makes it much easier to play defensively without losing any offensive power.

Thanks for the guide, I've been struggling with the repeaters, didnt realize the range drop was so bad. Any advice on farming parts for exotic blueprints? I can't break anything in under 2 minutes, even if everyone focuses, is it easier to do on a solo hunt?

Best advice is don't use exotics as they are pretty shit. Godhand finally got fixed after being bugged repeatedly for over a year and is now usable. Can be annoying to use in a solo hunt but in groups where the behemoth is not focusing on you it can wreck. Only one I'd actually craft. Can do the others for transmogs though. Yes, solo hunts are easier as the behemoth thresholds are lower than in a group. Make a pure part break build and just rush to the behemoth and focus on that part and that part alone. Also pay attention to see if it needs to be broken while they are enraged or not.

Gunzerker build - +3 molten +6 predator +6 wild frenzy +6 conduit with Shrike Lantern. Just get smashed by the behemoth for the first 15 seconds of the fight, then proceed to YEET EM.
