Darrell's Knowledge and passion for his museum was so infectious. I didn't know I wanted to go to a bone museum until I saw this. I would want him to lead me on a tour of the museum with all that he knows about the specimens and with his familiarity with where they came from. I can't say it enough, but Lily is so darling! So much fun to watch her playing and the way she interacts with you. You'll never regret the time you make for her. What a blessing!🙏💯 That spread at Masing's looked absolutely amazing! Davao is truly the pearl of the Philippines! What a progressive city. That coastal highway is a work of art as well as an impressive piece of engineering. Thanks for sharing those family vignettes at the roadside park and allowing us to see that fantastic seaside feast on the pier. My mouth is still watering.

According to some vloggers, the project comprises of 5 phases. That one recently opened is phase 1 only.

I want to move somewhere that is laid back but with access to modern amenities. I live in the hills of Antipolo but the urban traffic mess is creeping up and a friend from Tagum has been telling me how nice the Davao area is progressing. This vid is very convincing that Davao is indeed a gem. Thanks for sharing!

davao traffic is actually manila levels now. i was there in 2017-18 few times and traffic was crap. we were there again last march and traffic was still crap.

Ngbakasyon ako August last year at pumunta kmi jan dahil mlapit lang bahay nmin Puan area.. Impressive, Kumander D! 👍Happy to see you promoting Davao. One thing you would notice there is the discipline. The peace and order in Davao is sacred compare to Manila or Cebu. Cleanliness and orderliness is must in Davao. 1.) Curfew for minors from 10pm to 5am. 2.) No Karaoke/Videoke after 12 midnight. 3.) Firecracker ban 4.) No smoking in public places. 5.) No drinking liquor in public places / Liquor ban. 6.) Shirtless or half-naked is prohibited in public places. And many more city ordinances. No disrespect to Japan and Singapore but Davao is not far when it comes to DISCIPLINE. The law (peace) and order in Davao City is implemented very strictly. Credit to the DUTERTEs. By the way, to the Military and Police in the Philippines the only airport that you can take a rest and get some free snack and coffee/drink is in Davao City airport. It's called 'Heroes Lounge'. Credit to then Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Roa Duterte. When PRRD became the 16th President he doubled the salary of the men in uniform (AFP, PNP, PCG, BUCOR, BFP, BJMP). 👊❤🙏

Thank you for this video! :) My family and I visited Coastal Road yesterday (July 16) to check out the place. We live on the opposite side of the city, so it was a bit of a drive. The place is vast and really cool for anyone who wants to spend a laid-back weekend on the seawall. The park is also huge, although it's a bit incomplete in terms of facilities. I was surprised by how crowded it was. I guess it was because it was a weekend, and the school break had just started. Even so, I felt like the area was not safe yet. There was a lack of security, and I didn't see any CCTVs or police officers in the area. I hope that the authorities will devise a security system for the area soon. It would be a shame for such a beautiful place to be unsafe.

Darrell is right, back then the Davao Museum in Lanang do not have many historical pieces. When we go on field trip, (every year) i kept wondering why we go there when there's not much to see and learn.
