A visit to the abandoned airport terminal building which is now turned as a dwelling place for illegal settlers.

If a relative boards a flight, i still remember we all would be waiting outside near the parking area and wait for our relative to wave from the second floor departure area glass window. The memories. And i miss the shops lining up on the airport road. And also, the road leading to the airport from Ladislawa. 💙💚💛❤💜

I still remember that airport 1989 when we came to Davao City to relocate from Manila. The airport was so quiet and empty not like the crowded and noisy of Manila airport. Back then Davao City was really a provenance and was still backward. Now I immigrated to the US and I can see the big changes Davao City has gone through. I can say that I’m proud to be a Davaoena or a Dabawenyo.

I miss the old times. Dapat gawin na itong bagong terminal so that there will be another terminal for short flight destinations using turboprop aircrafts and a320s o di kaya gawing mabuhay lounge or terminal only for Pal.

Ang ganda pa naman ng building. Si Leandro Locsin daw ang architect nito eh. Sayang. This could be turned into a museum.

Wow nakikita ko ito malapit sa DIA akala ko office lang yuon yun pala dating terminal pala ito thanks for the vid I will research about this mas maganda pa pala airport nuon nung Davao kaso binomba pwede namang gibain yung building kung condemn na pala at tayuan ng bago o kayo gawa sila replica nito para hindi makalimutan

Hindi raw puwede gibain ksi gawa to ni leandro locsin which is one of the national artist of the PH. May batas daw na nag babawal na gibain ang mga buildings na gawa raw nya. Anyways, I agree to make it another terminal for turbo props plane.
