There's something about Greg's haircut when he comes out that looks like a mix of Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno in mid transformation from David Banner into the Incredible Hulk. One of the absolute best comics. Left us way too soon.

I've had the same thought about Hunter S Thompson and politics these days. Sadly, I think he'd just blow his fucking brains out even sooner if he'd had to see this madness, and I figure pretty much the same applies to Greg. Carlin probably could have handled it - he seemed to be able to separate himself from the bullshit a little more. Guys like Giraldo and Thompson kind of took it personally.

Been a life long comedy fan since Pryor on sunset strip, and Carlins class clown my dad had on vinyl. By the time I was 12 I loved Dane Cook. Went and seen him last year and would have rather had Rouse's condition than listen to one more minute of Cook bombing. The audience spent most of the time in the bathroom doing coke.

Yeah, he's not for everyone, but that doesn't make him bad. Shame that Sean Rouse doesn't have more material. He was a really good dark comedian. Greg Giraldo was one of the most uncompromising, IMO.
