The issue here is electronic music today likes 4/4 more than anything else, while Swing Jazz rarely did 4/4. It never really sounds right when change the time signature. The bass on this song though is absolutely gorgeous 👍

Actually all jazz is written in 4/4, as is practically all music. Dave Brubeck was one of the few who exploited this resource.
